There are also lots of footpaths leading from the town towards Loughrigg, Wansfell and Troutbeck Bridge. Wonderful accommodation in a superb location
Wonderful accommodation, overlooking the gorgeous scenery of Lake Windermere. The apartment had everything and more than you needed. The location is second to none. I would heartedly recommend and will return myself, without hesitation.

Overall a nice stay
We enjoyed staying in the apartment and it has a stunning view over the lake. Overall we had a great stay but there were teething troubles including finding and switching on the WiFi, hooking up the telly and making it actually work, switching on the heating and warming the apartment. On the plus side, once warm it was very comfortable...
