Edna’s Cottage is wonderful. It’s in the ideal location with paths on the doorstep with a range of walks. It was quiet and we spent time in the beautiful garden which was magical. There was a lovely traditional range and an adequately kitted out kitchen. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower. The double bedroom has a comfy bed and a large closet for storage and hanging clothes. The two single beds were unfortunately extremely uncomfortable and two of our group had difficulty sleeping in them. The hotel and pub are next door with a basic menu but don’t really cater for alternative diets Cheaters by the river is a great cafe with lovely food and a super gift shop. We would recommend this cottage but bear in mind the single beds!
