The hotel is nice but the service was terrible. Check-in was at 4:00 (but apparently it isn’t guaranteed check-in). Our name was added to a lengthy list -we were #86. Our room wasn’t available to us until 8:15 that evening! We paid top dollar since our room was over $700 per night. $1550 since we needed 2 rooms. On top of all of this, they needed us to pay for our room 3 weeks ahead of time because some special event was in town. What an inconvenience!

Thank you, Andrea, for taking the time to do a review. We apologize for the delay in getting rooms turned over. We had 187 rooms that had to be cleaned that day as we had the whole hotel rented for a group that we had that moved their days to accommodate the concert. Our housekeeping staff and other staff worked hard to get these rooms turned over the fastest they could. Check-in times arw not guarenteed. They are meant as people can start checking in at 4, but depends on availability. We also treat all the big events like our football policy and that is why payment is taken well in advance. Again I apologize for the inconvenience.

The hotel was pretty good. But the restaurant was closed and the pool wasnt working. Thats one of the first things I look for when I book a room is whether or not they have a pool. So that was disappointing . The hot tub and sauna was decent, just too many people, so couldnt really enjoy any of it!!

Really enjoyed staying at Gateway hotel. Room was clean and welcoming feel. Check in staff was friendly. We did miss free breakfast, as it is quick and easy way to get on the road again. With that being said, there is an on-site restaurant, we did not try. Looking forward to staying here again.
