Wed site said daily cleaning but it was not . You had to scan the QR code to request for a cleaning. You had to go down stairs to the reception for a new garbage disposal bag. It doesn’t ´provide the service as a hotel should be. It is poor service and doesn’t want to hire staff for cleaning. This is our first time and also the last time that we stayed at this hotel.

Request a room on the back of the street can be very noisy. Don't forget to ask to service in the room every day. Great stuff and very good location.

Intimate room in a convenient location

Our room was very small but clean and we basically just slept there so it was okay. The location and very helpful and welcoming staff were great. If you’re going to keep yourself out touring the city all day then it is a great place at a reasonable price.

The location of this hotel was great & the customer service was excellent. However, the rooms were a bit small (couldn’t open two suitcases at the same time) and we requested our room be cleaned and it wasn’t (so we had to change our sheets, dispose of garbage, and get new towels ourselves).

Steep stairs to the lobby. Expensive breakfast buffet, room is small but comfortable, good A/C, nice bed but very little room to maneuver around it. Great location for the hotel with a nice comfortable lobby.

Overall it was good. Perfect location? But rooms are super small, and the hotel needs better maintenance. Elevator is super slow and the stairs are not the safest, specially the main entrance.

Had a VERY small basement room - was quiet - but TINY with a LOT of steps. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone with mobility issues- the front steps are almost a ladder 😬! Many hotels are closer to “downtown” - about a 20 minute walk away from Anne Frank house. Found old candy spilled under edge of the bed - so minimal vacuuming had been done in a while. First time in Amsterdam- so hard to compare what one “should” get for $225 per night - but we were a bit disappointed.
