While it was brand new, I was veey disappointed to find out after we arrived thatvthe rooftop terrace was not to open for another 3 weeks, this was the biggest reason we booked considering all our other hotel options that I had found!! No one cared after i had complained, no apologize!! Only one restaurant, bad service esoecuslly on days where attendance was very very low, couldn't understand!!

Staff wasn’t very friendly. After another 2nd authorization was put on my CC with out a courtesy call they said they would reverse it as long as I checked out at the front desk. Reversal never occurred. I talked to front desk twice that day with no updates or resolution. Upon checkout trying to get luggage from room to vehicle, card access was cut at 11am to use the elevators. We have a little one and not being able to get back up to the floor while trying to juggle him and attempting to get the card activated was tedious. No apology or concern. Staff was not helpful but another guest helped us out get back up to our floor via their key. Room was falling apart door handle in bathroom was literally falling off. Getting a standard set of towels per day was also non existent, some days we got towels but missing hand towels, wash cloth or floor towel mat. 39.99 plus 15% tax to park per night and a ridiculous 25.00 “resort fee” plus 15% tax. I’ve stayed all around the area with other Hotels and this was a horrible experience and hotel.

Our stay at The Viv in Anaheim was extremely disappointing and stressful due to cleanliness issues and serious billing problems. Check-in was the only positive experience, as the staff member was kind and professional. Both rooms were unacceptable, with missing basic supplies like washcloths and hand towels, dirty towels and furniture, and poor overall cleanliness. Checkout became a major ordeal when we were incorrectly told no payment method was on file and that we owed money, despite already being charged. While disputing this, incorrect charges appeared on the bill, including a promised credit that was effectively removed. It took nearly an hour and a supervisor to resolve basic billing errors, and the staff member who made the accusation never apologized. Aside from the check-in staff and valet team, the experience showed a lack of cleanliness, billing integrity, and accountability, making this a place better avoided.
