The staff were excellent, helpful and many of them seemed genuinely happy to say hello and good morning (even at 6 am!). Some of the guests were kind of loud throughout the night and some loud cars on the road outside, but that feels like the luck of the draw really. The actual in was very pleasant and pretty comfortable.

I think very unique to Alaska. Eclectic and fun to see and stay in. Nice to stay in and near Anchorage Football Stadium where I had to be for events.

Was like a high class hostel with a nice shareable kitchen. I was a little worried when my room was right close to the main road but I was pleasantly surprised how quiet and private the room felt. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff and fellow visitors had a very friendly attitude that was welcoming and put me at ease.

This quirky hotel has a lot of character. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was small, clean, and comfortable. The only ding I would give this place was our door was really hard to open because it hit the grate on the ground. This obviously had been happening for a while as the door had a groove at the bottom where it had been hitting for a long time. We blocked the draft with the two bibles in the room, so those came in handy. The keycard sensor didn’t have a cover on the inside of the room so you could see the batteries, however the outside was fine and the key card worked properly. Even with these two issues I would stay there again

The place is more hostel than anything. The bedroom didn't have a window, which bothered us, since we like to sleep with open window. The shower mat was one of those carpet mats which I assume is not getting washed after each guest. The place was extremely noisy from other guests moving around. You literally could hear every move, step, etc from other guests, upstairs. We unfortunately had someone moving around for hours in the middle of the night. And I don't mean, guests being inconsiderate loud, I am talking about people just moving around. Our fridge was not plugged in and there was a container of takeout food still in there. We had to close the fridge quickly, since it had already started to smell. Luckily we had only booked one night.

No frills night in Anchorage

We just needed a place to sleep for a quick overnight in Anchorage. This was a quirky, no frills bed to sleep in. I opted for the private bath though there was an option for a less expensive shared bath.

The hotel more feel like hostel. You share bathroom and shower. They said depending on how much you pay for the room. But they don't have many prvite room anyway. Thats not big deal. And understsnd you are not 5 star hotel, but i didnt know they will not clean the room everyday, so after first night, i didnt see they clean/change towel in my room, I went to front desk, the lady said: you stay 5 star hotel they will change everyday. This is so unprofessional. You are try to humiliate your customer. It would be better if just tell us that we only do every three days. And in fact, even after 3 days we still didnt get any services from hotel, had to left note and reach out agian, final got some cleaning towel. Only big thankful is John, he is most friendly and thoughtful person to took care the business.
