The building is tucked alongside a mountainside. The views are great. The place was spotless. We spent the day at Alyeska's Nordic Spa, so we were tired out when we arrived. I would recomend this property to everyone.

beautiful property but the walls are too thin upstairs for 2 different groups at the same time. The group renting the other part of this house got up before 6 a.m. and had a whinny child and a loud mother.

The house was very clean and ready early but it was a duplex shared with another family. This family was loud and set off the smoke detectors that rang through the entire building at 830pm. Parking was not ideal if you have anything bigger than a 4 door car. A bigger SUV would struggle if all 3 residents/homes were full. The deck was long and the stairs were slightly steeper than expected and would be challenging for someone with mobility issues. The view was beautiful and allowed for us to watch the mountain tops with binoculars. Would still rent again with the understanding of the shared space and small parking area.

Quiet place nestled in the trees with incredible views. Close to some good restaurants. Not too far from Anchorage. Close to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and the scenic Seward Highway. House is clean and well equipped with just about everything you could need.

The views were awesome, the home was lovely, the amenities were as stated, and the host was very easy with whom to work. Although we loved the property, the only drawback was that it was shared with other guests and we could clearly hear their conversations through a shared locked door in the master bedroom.

Beautiful location. Clean, updated house. Perfect place to chill after lots os sightseeing. We could have some snacks and play cards before getting a good nights rest. Very comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Alyeska Wedding Trip

Our extended family rented several VRBO’s in Girdwood for my Grandson’s wedding at the Alyeska Resort. I really enjoyed our stay at my particular VRBO and felt like I was in a magical place, like a tree house at Disney World. The residence was clean and well laid out. Everything needed for cooking on site was available, laundry facilities and other amenities. It was great as we were a bit stressed with last minutes pre-wedding obligations. Having a nice, clean and stress-free place to stay made everything come together perfectly!

Woodsy home with all the comforts of home

This home was exactly as described. The house is really tucked away into a cute neighborhood. It’s divided into two homes, one upstairs and one downstairs, so if you happen to have quiet neighbors (which we did) then you are good to go. The house is clean and updated, making it easy to cook and relax. Loved it!

It was clean and was sufficient for a one night stay. We were a little disappointed with the noise we could hear from the other unit and could actually feel the floorboards moving when the child was running in their unit. We could clearly hear their casual conversations. The lack of sound insulation between the two units made us feel a little like we were eavesdropping.

Beautiful view

This house is as described and has a beautiful view. The home was clean and well stocked with amenities. As you see in the pictures, there are a lot of steps which can be slippery in the rain. Also the parking situation is a bit tricky with the upstairs rental and the neighbors. It’s very tight, and if someone has parked a little freely, you’ll need to ask them to adjust their parking to the allow you space to park. Overall a nice rental.

Perfect Spot for a Girls’ Getaway!

We had a fantastic girls’ night at this vacation rental! The home was spotless, with plenty of beds and all the amenities we needed. Check-in and checkout instructions were very clear, and the host was responsive, generous, and even allowed us an early check-in. Highly recommend!
