5 stars because weekend staff were great!

Our stay was absolutely perfect, right up until the very last interaction we had checking out. Not sure what the issue was but the manager at the desk along with a cleaning staff decided it would be best to have an open conversation about the room my family and I stayed infront of other guests as if our room had a problem. When I asked what the problem was, she mentions a photo the cleaning staff took and questioned me about it. When I gave my explanation she had an attitude and sent me on my way. Literally every staff member we encountered leading up to the manager and cleaning staff were excellent and professional. We appreciate the courtesy shown by weekend staff, which they happen to be all black. I wish I gathered their names because I had planned on giving 5 stars because of them specifically. The minor issues we had with our room was overlooked because of how welcoming and accommodating the 3 weekend staff were. 1 lady and 2 gentlemen. Thanks for a pleasnt time.

Not impressed

The hotel looked nice and renovated on the inside and out, but once we got in the room and pulled down the covers on the bed there was a huge ball of hair. The front desk guy was by himself and swamped so he gave us sheets to change the bed ourselves! The kids couldn’t use the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated because it was freezing cold. The AC in the room was shotty and would only work with the fan on manual setting. We won’t be back.

Property was in a great location, and overall, we had nice stay. The only negative is that because the hotel is open in the middle, the sound carried and it was extremely noisy until well after 10pm.
