The room is run down and could use some better cleaning The wallpaper is peeling off The chairs in the lobby are run down and need to be replaced The tv didn’t work so I called the front desk they said they would come fix it they never came so I called in the morning and now we have to wait until 8 am to see if anyone will come to fix it The staff is friendly Check in was a breeze

The woman at the front desk was robotic. Not unpleasant, but mechanical. The man cleaning the building was amazingly nice. The entrance of the place always smells clean, however, we stayed on the 4th floor, and it smelled like an old ashtray. Incidentally, the next morning the fire alarm went off. No fireman came. The staff were not interacting with the guests. It was just very weird. It wound up being someone smoking in one of the rooms. This must happen often, and the reason why there was no emergency presence (aside from a lone officer sent to check). Should there be a real emergency, I fear "the hotel that cried wolf" story would play out.

Hmmm how was our stay? I'm not sure because never got to stay! We're attending a Halloween party close by. Had our costumes ready to go. Arrive and we're told our reservation was canceled. That's funny cause not only didnt anyone tell us but just an hour earlier i was getting emails confirming my stay. Of course hotel blamed it on Hotels com. Listen its ok we got canceled. It happens... but to not get any notice!! Thank goodness it was only a 45 minute drive.

The pool is outside and seasonal so it was closed for our stay 11/2/25. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was ok, wish there was more fruit. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again.

I stayed at this Hilton property on October 31 and unfortunately had one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room I was given appeared to be an accessible/handicap room, which would’ve been fine if the shower had been functional for standard use. Instead, it only had a handheld showerhead with no overhead option, and the mount on the wall didn’t angle downward — meaning I couldn’t actually take a proper shower. After a long day of travel, that was incredibly disappointing. The next morning, housekeeping entered my room at 9:30 AM despite checkout not being until noon. It startled me awake and made for a very unpleasant morning. When I tried to calmly explain all of this to the front desk at checkout, the staff member was dismissive and rude. She told me that since I booked through Expedia, I had to take it up with them and refused to even acknowledge my experience. I did contact Expedia, who reached out to the hotel on my behalf — and the hotel refused to issue a refund, stating that “the shower was working properly.” I find that response insulting. You book a hotel for two simple things: to sleep well and shower comfortably. I was able to do neither, and instead have spent hours trying to get a basic resolution. This experience has been disappointing. I expected better from a Hilton-branded property and hope corporate takes this feedback seriously.

My room was cancelled. Upon arrival at the hotel, the reception team advised us that the reservation was canceled by Expedia. Upon reaching out to Expedia customer service, they did not see the cancellation and saw my reservation as active. Having been embarrassed already at location, my wife found an alternate hotel at the last moment. I await feedback and completion of my refund, including use of points.

Cant really rate what you were lied to about!!!! Booked a room through Expedia.com and got a phone call from Hampton Inn Clinton hours before check-in that they were booked. We had booked our room well over two weeks ago. How all of a sudden the same day you realize your over booked. We had an event we were going to and live over 1 hour away. Ruined our whole weekend. I will never book with them again!!!
