Seagull Landing-Deck overlooks ocean waves-200 ft to beach and tidepools

Beautifully appointed ocean-view home with a relaxing, beachy vibe, located 200 steps from the beach and beach access in the quiet heart of Arch Cape (about four miles south of Cannon Beach). You are close enough to enjoy the fun, restaurants, art galleries and shopping of Cannon Beach and Seaside and still have your own secluded beach for walking and beachcombing. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the ocean from the full second-story deck with barbecue or perhaps curl up with a good book by the cozy fireplace in the comfortably furnished living room. Off the main bedroom sliding door is a patio and fire pit overlooking the ocean, where you can enjoy an outdoor fire and smores with the family and friends. Throughout the house are stunning views of the ocean and forest/mountains.

The living area is spacious and tastefully decorated with Smart, High Definition Flat screen TV, cable, wireless 5-G highspeed internet access, CD with wood-burning stone fireplace. Well-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave, appliances, drip coffee maker, Keurig and lots of dishware and cookware for a 'home-away-from-home.'

The lower level of this bright and sunny beach house provides three bedrooms with comfortable beds (one with a king bedroom suite, one with queen-size bed and one with bunk beds), a second full bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board. A new, comfort designed with thick mattress, queen-size, sofa sleeper will accommodate sleeping arrangements for up to eight persons. The king bedroom has a sliding door, opening to a comfortable patio with firepit and chairs. The house is immaculately cleaned before every guest arrives. Guests tell us, 'We felt immediately at home and welcome.' We supply all linens, towels, table linen, paper, soap, cleaning supplies, wood for fireplace, basic kitchen spices, cards, puzzles and family games too! Sorry, no smoking, no pets. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

We have stayed in many VRBO houses and this was the best equipped kitchen we have seen. Our host gave excellent directions and had good information in a notebook for us. The house was immaculate. The fireplace and outdoor fire were fabulous. The house is decorated nicely and felt cosy, warm and friendly. We would love to return!

House is beautiful. Very clean. Right next to the beach best location for sure. Good for teens and parents. Had beach chairs, for pit beautiful view. Make the short drive to short shore it’s a short easy hike in the wood to an amazing creek and beach! Spend a day there take fire starter log and lunch trust me! Found agates just amazing forest views great for photos of beach and forest. The beach at the house is magical also you. A walk for miles in both directions tons of silver dollars. Huge point entrance was and closed and that’s too far to walk so drive down to haystack on at low tide they have the best tide pools. But there are small tide pools at the beach in front of the house too. Bring rain boots and rain jackets. It was a must have. House has very soft amazing beds! We watched Goonies and twilight just to get in the spirit lol. We grilled dinner most night it was perfect had all the stuff you need. Including sand toys, med side rain jackets and blankets and chair for beach. Even when tide is high you can walk the beach! Lots of fire wood to have a fire in beach but bring a starter log or two. Watch the sunset in the beach w a fire it’s worth it! The beach empty most days the neighborhood is clear, beautiful and everyone was so nice! Short drive to Astoria must see Goonies house and film museum. Very glad I stayed at this house instead of staying in Astoria though much nice area and the beach was pretty with tons of hiking. Stunning views from the balcony and short walk to beach! Wonderful wood burning fireplace, and a kitchen with all the amenities! We made three fabulous dinners in the kitchen and it had everything we needed! We already booked another stay for next year!

Nice location! Kitchen had everything we needed . Beds were pretty decent. A bit of a musty smell in basement. Communication with owner was excellent!. We would stay here again!
