Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayBook this property NOW! The location was so quiet and peaceful, and the cottage itself was super clean and comfortable. The covered porch outside the bedroom was probably our favorite place to relax (along with the hot tub). The views of Elk Mountain are spectacular and you are literally 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway (accessible without having to go back through town). While there we saw wild turkeys, a hawk, and the neighborhood bear. We really loved hanging out between hikes, exploring town, and eating at some of our favorite restaurants. We hope to return on our next visit to the AVL!

Perfect place for relaxing with our dog after exploring

It is nearby the Blue Ridge Parkway & only 15 -20 mins from anywhere we wanted to go in Asheville. The backyard is good size & space for a dog. We enjoyed reading in the sun on the comfortable loungers, sitting by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, or watching the rain under the covered back porch. Inside the home is beautifully decorated. We especially loved the tile work throughout.
