The property was very average. The rooms were fine and it had a pool. There was one restaurant that served decent food. Unfortunately several evenings they had only a poor but expensive buffet available. So there were no other options for food within walking distance.

The hotel has a nice view, but it is in major renovations. Not worth it for the price we payed.

Accommodating but less in professionalism
Posted Dec. 26, 2023 on HotelsThe location and view is great. Staff can be trained to the next level of professionalism compared to the other hotels I have stayed. At the checkout, the guy was so busy so even say thank you. Just handed me a print out and start talking to someone else. When I asked for an envelop , he just gave me one. There were other incidents as well…
Rooms are a little out dated.
Food was good but the cutleries, plates and the buffet area doesn’t meet the high standards.

Nice room with a view of the Nile. Beds are comfortable. Room was specious. Staff was great. Walking distance to city center. Nice property but there was construction work at the lobby and restaurant.

Staff were kind and helpful. They helped with daytrips and ride to the airport. There was construction at the hotel and down the street but it was still quiet and clean. Pool side was great to rest after expeditions to archaeological sites. The Nubia Museum was conveniently across the street. Restaurant had pretty decent food.
