We arrived early in the morning and the receptionist was super kind—she let us into the hotel and gave us the room before check-in time. The hotel is very centrally located, so you do hear some noise at night, but I was so tired every day that it didn’t bother me at all. The room was clean, the only downside was that it needed some paint touch-ups in a few areas. But if you’re looking for a central, clean place with friendly staff, this is the place.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and service, and great location but ask for an interior room if you plan to sleep. The hotel provides earplugs but it is very loud in the street facing rooms and the nightlife goes all night.

They were doing renovations and did not notify us until after we checked in about the noise and the non available areas .. good enough but our room was too small and it felt claustrophobic.. looking at the other rooms they were beautiful and with balconies facing acropolis .. great and centric location ! Right next to Starbucks and major attractions

We came after hours and the hotel knew this. They never communicated to us how to enter after hours or that we needed a code. I called the number they gave us and they were able to give us the code to enter where our room key was waiting behind the desk. They had a brochure of all the amenities they offered and laundry service was one of them. When I went to the front desk and asked how we do laundry service, the girl at the front desk said we don’t have laundry service. So just a few inconsistencies.

This beautiful hotel is in a great location in downtown Athens; a few minute walk to historic sights and to the subway. The rooms are lovely. We did experience a power outage while here, not the fault of the hotel. The manager showed excellent customer service while managing this. Would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel has a surprisingly elegant interior! The rooms are modern and nicely designed. It’s super conveniently located, only minutes from Monastiraki Station (where we arrived from the airport and also left to go to the ferry port). The staff are very friendly. My main issue was that you can hear every time someone enters or exits the hotel. You can hear every conversation in the communal areas. It makes it very difficult to sleep when you have an early ferry to catch the next day. One other thing to note is there wasn’t natural light in our room but that wasn’t an issue as we spent very little time at the hotel.

Location can't be beat

The room is barely bigger than the bed but the location is unbeatable. You are literally right around the corner from Monostraki square. A 3 minute walk from the metro station opening. The front desk isn't manned 24/7 so if you need to leave at something like 8am, you'll need to let the front desk know and they will arrange to have someone there at that time. Would stay at the Icon again without hesitation.

Good location, good stay

Location was great. Service was ok, they tied up with a nearby restaurant and they were really hospitable. The airport transfer is 55eur and not inclusive in the stay. Expect noise at night.

the location is centrally located and walking distance to archeological sites, museums, shopping restaurants and transport If you like to party late, this property will suit you as its not a soundproof room. loud music from local clubs dont stop till at least 1am overall, sraff are very accommodating and clean rooms serviced Daily if required

Lovely boutique hotel in an amazing location
