Clarion Inn & Suites Atlanta Downtown is a 2-star hotel. The stay was commensurate with the star rating; therefore, I am not posting to be disparaging. I am reviewing what I was asked about. The room had a noticeable foul odor when I first entered. When I contacted the front desk to request an air freshener or disinfectant spray, they were unable to provide any. Additionally, I found hair in the bedsheets upon arrival. The lamps showed visible rust, and the showerhead sprayed water outward toward the walls, contributing to paint damage in the bathroom. The carpet also appeared very worn and outdated.

This is a VERY run-down hotel. Lots of chipped paint all over the room, ceiling was peeling, lamps were covered in rusty bits, shower was gross - it was just gross all over. Also, the room we were in was TINY - probably smaller than 10 x 10 with a king bed in it and not much else. It was just depressing and a total waste of money. We stayed for about 10 minutes, left and found a different hotel. The front desk guy was nice enough.
