First and foremost Donna is an amazingly thoughtful host; outstanding communication. We could not have asked for a better first stop on our holiday. The house was very clean, stocked with essentials, and comfortable. The environment was peaceful with a lot of bird life right outside the windows on this wonderful property. Great access to outdoor activities, whether it be beaches or forest. Good restaurants and food market nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Tranquil haven!

We had a brilliant time at Palm Haven. Situated in a rural spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was spotless, warm and very cosy, and had anything and everything you could ask for in a home away from home. Donna was excellent with communication and directions on how to get to the cottage and was very accommodating. We feel Donna went above and beyond for us in what was a very difficult time for her.Thank you Donna. We will definitely be back!

Quaint and Clean

The cabin is quite well stocked, clean and the beds are really comfortable. Our only issues as trying to find the place and would encourage everyone to print off Donna’s detailed instructions before you travel as the GPS and internet are spotty to say the least. Also, the place could be more clearly marked and the road up to the property is very narrow and challenging. We also had to kill a few moths and spiders which wasn’t pleasant. If you need a place to get aways from the city, then this is it!!

Perfect in every way

We were staying over two nights to attend a family in Piha, and travelling with my 81 year old Mum, who has mobility issues. This was the perfect home for her and the extended family was able to pop in before the ceremony to say hello. Plenty of lovely deck space to spread out on without getting under each other's feet.

2 day stay while traveling.

Me and my partner are traveling the area and chose this property for a two night stay. Even though we were late arriving, the host met us and showed us around. Everything that was needed was available. The was tea and coffee and many pantry items. Everything was nice and clean. The bedding was good and the garden was beautiful. It worked very well for a two day stop on a driving trip.

Heavenly haven

This is a unique peaceful, quiet,and spiritual haven. Stress relief guaranteed. We all loved the homeliness and proximity to everywhĂšre western,only 5 minutes to shops, if needed. We cant wait to go again. The hosts were kind and made us feel really welcome, cant wait to go again.

We had a lovely stay, our flights were delayed so we checked in late and the host Donna was so wonderful and kind, she had turned the heaters on to warm the house up prior to our arrival. Beautiful private location. We will stay again.

Wir haben uns in dem sehr schönen, ruhigen und abgeschlossenen Haus sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt, und wĂŒrden sofort wieder kommen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und fĂŒrsorglich gewesen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist wunderschön in einem herrlichen Garten.
