Just what we needed
Publié le 3 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely love this place. Diane was a great host. Perfect communication and her directions were on spot on. Even though the complex can be confusing, she made it easy to find our spot. The amenities are great. If you are an indoor pool kind of person like me, right now the indoor pool is closed but we had a blast at the pool which was super close to the condo. Totally relaxing and we recommend.

Hill Country Getaway
Publié le 3 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted a getaway for a long weekend and we got exactly that. The lake was 50 feet below normal so the normal lake activities were curtailed. The resort was minimally occupied so the crowds were ideal. The pool was not crowded at all. However, only 1 of the 3 pools were open. Since the lake activities were limited we did some hiking in the local area (Arkansas Bend Park and Balcones Canyonland) which we really enjoyed. The accomodations were as advertised and the responsiveness of Diana were exceptional. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Short relaxing trip
Publié le 2 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful view, could be much better if water levels were normal but that's no fault of the owner. Nice pool and hot tub. Spa was a great spot for a massage. Cleanliness of the fridge and some dishes was suspect (lipstick prints on cups), but everything was supplied you could need. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the hospitality.

Second Time Staying Here

The space is clean, the kitchen has everything you need, and the view of the sunset from the balcony is probably the best part. Diana is also a great host. The Island opened a new restaurant on site. The food and drinks are delicious! You really don’t even have to leave the Island. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home, Diana!

Beautiful lake stay!
Publié le 24 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an enchanting condo experience. The pictures don’t do the 180 view justice, it is incredible. Best unit on the entire property. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful bedroom with comfy bed with windows overlooking the lake. TV setup was perfect, although we spent most time reading by the pool and in the hot tub. Highly recommend staying! Host was super communicative and accommodating.

Disappointing
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe pictures don't tell an accurate story. The location is, well lets just say "rough". The property needs a lot of work.
Things that are broken or closed don't get relayed to you until it's too late to cancel. The condo is just ok...it was clean though. we were going to stay 2 nights but left after 1. if you aren't going to go out on the lake, there isn't much else to do without driving 45 minutes or an hour.
the owners were very nice but we wont be back. Sorry.

Hi Michael, I'm sorry the weather didn't cooperate for your trip and one of the three spas was not working. I sent you a text message and email in advance of your stay informing you that one of the spas was not working but there were two others to enjoy on the property. These issues were completely out of my control. I wish you would have reached out to me during your stay. I was very clear in my listing that we are 45 minutes from Austin.

Wonderful property
Publié le 26 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was meant to be a weekend getaway and it was great! The condo was clean and conveniently stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated ice in the freezer as we made margaritas that evening. Diana provided excellent info so check in was smooth and easy. The island was quiet but a lot to do close by. We will definitely be back when it’s a little warmer and we can use the pool.

Hidden Gem
Publié le 2 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis rental has everything one might need and more! It is clean and the perfect size for a couples weekend. The scenery is beyond what any pictures here can show. There are deer everywhere and the staff is very friendly. We were so impressed with the facility that we plan on returning very soon!
