Starting 01/01/24 and ending 03/30/24 there is a 4-night minimum stay. Starting 03/30/24 and ending 01/04/25 there is a 7-night minimum stay, beginning and ending on a Saturday. Check in 4PM on Saturday, Check out 10AM on Saturday.

BEACH BLOCK 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with a HEATED POOL is steps from the ocean! Recently renovated with a new bathroom and kitchen, this first-floor condo can accommodate up to four (4) people.

LOCATION: 9 E 28th Street Unit 1/West, Avalon, NJ! This convenient condo is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy all the attractions of Avalon. The beach is only steps away, plus there is an arcade and tons of free parking right across the street! Easily walk into Avalon's town center for dining and shopping or relax by the heated pool.

UNIT: This beach block unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom and is located on the first floor (1st bedroom: queen bed, 2nd bedroom: 2 twin beds). This costal condo offers a brand-new kitchen with new cabinets and appliances, an open living room, dining area. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convivence. We have free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV or Roku Stick, but we do not offer cable.

Important Notes:
- Pool area will be open by 05/25/24 and closed on 09/28/24.
- Pool area will be open by 05/24/25 and closed on 09/27/25.
- We are pet friendly! Your pet is welcome as we consider them part of the family! Prior approval and pet fee is mandatory. Your pet is not permitted to be near the pool area or in the pool. Our pet fee is $65 PER DAY for ONE pet. We require the name, breed and a photo of your pet prior to approval (some restrictions apply). If the pet is not disclosed before your stay, we will charge $250 per day, per pet.
- Linens, towels, toiletries and beach equipment is not provided. If desired there are several local companies that rent linens, towels and beach equipment such as @ShoreService or you can bring your own. Beach tags are NOT INCLUDED!
- The coolest A/C setting is 70 degrees, and the warmest heat setting is 75 degrees.
- Strict No Parties Rule: Avalon Borough has a strict noise code. In the event that our tenants violate that code, we could lose our Rental License for three consecutive years. If, as a result of your stay, our Rental License is revoked for any period due to a code violation, you and your guests WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR 3 YEARS OF RENTAL INCOME.

Notice: Cameras monitor the outdoor spaces around our home for safety and security purposes. We require photo ID for any guest age 18+ prior to your stay.

Cozy and relaxing

This property provides what any traveler is seeking: simplicity. Located steps from the beach, quiet and residential, but with beach amenities at your doorstep. Property is very clean. The communication with the Host is flawless. We look forward to staying here again.

Expedia did not make clear the stipulation the property owners had for full week rentals. It permitted booking for less than a full week. This is a sublisting from VRBO. The pricing is clearly both for location and time of year, as well as use of pool. In terms of the actual facilities they are average. Ex: neither bedroom even has closet doors. Caulking was coming off of the faucet in the tub and they're sub-stocked in terms of kitchen supplies (which, in all fairness, they warn you of, but only 24 hours in advance). In terms of communication they are excellent. The property manager made sure we were all settled and the check in process was seamless. The location is top notch (one block from beach, right across from public parking and close to arcade and coffee shop). I would suggest that the owners include in the check in guide how to change the thermostat (they were kind enough to include a link to a how to on the door lock) because it wasn't incredibly intuitive and we froze until we figured it out. (Yes I realize we could have just contacted the property manager but vacationing with a toddler has its way of appropriating your attentions).

Great Avalon getaway!

The location of this property is perfect! Super short walk to the beach and ideally located within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and the kitchen and bath were updated. The property manager was very responsive to our questions. We'll be back!

Location great with nice pool. Facilities very clean except for grill. Bedrooms need curtains or heavier blinds to block light from street lights and adjacent homes. I would stay there again without a second thought

Nice location, so much potential, but lacking

Location is nice, near the beach and restaurants/shops. Owners could make this a nice place with a little TLC and updating. Very bare bones. No trash can in the kitchen, no hangers in the closets, absolutely nothing supplied (you must bring everything hand soap, dish soap, Tp, trash bags, hand towels, linens, towels, etc). For the price, the least they could do is have a few things for guest traveling in to get started. I brought my own comforter/blanket as well as linens/towels (they don’t supply) and I’m very glad I brought my own comforter. The owners need to throw their comforters out, absolutely gross, stains, blood etc on them (don’t believe they’ve ever been washed). I wouldn’t sit on them fully clothed. I left coat hangers and extra cleaning supplies, dish soap, some trash bags, etc behind, so maybe the next guest will have those to start. The property needs some maintenance.

The bathroom had mold/mildew on the shower curtain and black mold on the window frame l.

Not happy with the mold/mildew in the bathroom also not happy with having to supply my own linens. I traveled from California and to supply my own linens I thought was ridiculous. I have stayed in VRBO properties in California during the COVID-19 pandemic and did not have to supply my own linens. Overall I was not happy with the amount I paid for what I got.

The place was simple and clean, and the location was amazing! Steps to the beach and a very short walk to town with ice cream, shops and restaurants. And, a playground across the street for the kids!

A perfect location!

The location of this property is absolutely perfect. A half a block to the beach and across from a wonderful playground for our son. We could easily walk to town and the place itself was comfortable. Would highly recommend!
