I stayed at Hotel Mac Rae between Christmas and New Years, the weather was not the best because of some storms, but the stay was great. I stayed in one of the rooms with the view of the beach and boardwalk. The room was nice (it’s an older hotel but it was nice to have a built-in closet with nice size drawers. In room there is a small refrigerator and coffee maker. Very clean room, nice view of the harbor. It even had a nice outdoor court room area but could not take advantage of it due to the weather. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place right where all the action happens!

Great location. Old hotel. Outdated. No elevators. 2 set of stairs to reach top. Small room, very clean. King bed very comfortable. Heating and air wall unit worked great. Plus a functioning ceiling fan. Nice TV. Small refrigerator, worked great. Room a bit noisy, but it faced the boardwalk. Great staff. We would stay here again.

The woman who was on staff was very sweet and checked us in early. Room was nice, clean and cozy. At checkout, she was nice to say to leave luggage and she’d watch it for us.

The front desk staff was wonderful. It’s a cozy hotel. It was a really nice setting. Everything was clean and your room gets cleaned every day, which is unusual for hotels nowadays.

We had an ocean view king at this location. It is the perfect location for a visit to Avalon. It's centered midtown with lots of shops, dining, and places to walk around the town. This was our second stay at this location. We will definitely consider this location for any future plans to Avalon.
