The room was so clean. The decor is a bit dated, but so tidy it looks like they have a stash of vintage new fixtures somewhere to replace things when they get worn. Can’t beat the location and front counter staff friendly and efficient. The only negative is that the hot water was temperamental.

Loved that it was right on the river. Definitely overpriced for condition of property but understand we arrived in the beginning of busy season. It was probably the cheapest option and did the job for just sleeping.

I don’t mind paying this much for a nice hotel. This was NOT one!!! Beautiful view was a loud street and parking lot with mountains in background. No air conditioning so we needed to keep balcony door open to sleep and it was very loud until late. Need a drink, food, coffee or snack? Walk a block to another hotel. Want to use the pool? Walk a block to the other hotel. Need shuttle? Walk to another hotel. Dated room, broken items. Need to fill water bottle in lobby where the sign says “be sure to hydrate”. Broken. Walk a block to the other hotel. Want some coffee other than the room coffee? Walk a block to the other hotel. Worse was the other hotel was less than the absolutely ridiculous price we paid for this room. It was not as nice as many cut rate motel rooms. Train whistle every two hours meant being wakened all night long. Would never recommend this place.

After reading some poor reviews, i have to differ. Love this place, across the walkway to the Bow River, within an easy walk to Banff Avenue. Or room is amazing, clean, spacious. Nothing to complain about here. Check in lady was absolutely lovely. Quick and an early check in. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Travelling from Australia.5* from us.
