We had a great stay at the Fox hotel! My wife and I were visiting Banff for our honeymoon and stayed 4 nights. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean.

I really found the roam bus pass useful to get to downtown Banff and some of the in town sites. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and the hotel provided us with a free bus pass that was good for some of the local routes. Staff was friendly and helpful also.

The rooms were adequate, and the hotel/bar/etc. were fine. I think that a hotel like this should disclose that they have no air conditioning, in a way that it cannot be missed by booking consumers. Unusually warm weather made it tough to sleep even though a fan was given. And, from locals, we heard that it could be another 10-15 degrees hotter during the months of July and August. 80 degrees Fahrenheit was bad enough, I cannot imagine it being 15 degrees hotter with no airconditioning.

The Fox MADE our stay in Banff! Great front desk staff, as well as any staff we saw throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly and so helpful! We had the best server at Chili’s as well! Would 100% recommend! Clean, quiet, and close to everything!

The beds were the most uncomfortable beds. It was difficult to sleep through the night because there is no AC in the room. The room was cramped and tiny. We found hairs in the bathtub and the shower head would leak water everywhere. There is no fridge in the room to put away food. For 500$+ a night you would expect more comfort.

There was no a/c. To have the window open you'd have to open to curtians, so no privacy. No fridge. Got told different info by employees when the pool closed which totally wasnt fun considering thats the one thing this place had going for them. Never again.
