Description: The Grand Oaks floor plan features convenient single level living with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a covered entry. The open floor concept has a spacious 1669 square feet. Mountain views can be admired from the open kitchen, living and dining room areas as well as the primary bedroom. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and is equipped with everything to prepare a meal. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table, play cards or put a puzzle together. Cozy up in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace or enjoy your favorite movie. The choices are yours! The large 19 ft wide covered concrete deck is a place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet afternoon enjoying the wonders of nature and the breathtaking mountain view. The spacious primary bedroom and bathroom suite offers a luxurious experience and access to the deck area as well as the living room. The guest bedrooms also have bathrooms offering privacy for each guest. Come for a short weekend or enjoy an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

There are others places to stay. Front entry lead ing into condo was loaded with leaves and door mat was cast aside. Patio furniture turned over and pushed to the corner. Sheets dirty - towels dirty. We washed them all ourselves. Furniture old. No smart tv so no streaming- really? TVs are 200 or less. Folks rely on the streaming. I felt the furniture was old - sofa cushions had not firmness - u sank right in. Same for dining room chairs- all of it needed to be replaced. Owners needed to provide additional pillows at least in main bedroom-who puts a standard flat pillow on a king size bed? Disappointed for sure buts that's about the standard these days. Vrbo vet ur management companies better.

Exceptional rental

This unit was even better than we expected. Incredible views, large balcony, very clean. We had 6 people and had more than enough space for us and all our ski gear. We enjoyed doing the puzzle in our down time. We are skiers who rent frequently around the mountain and were very happy with this rental. Would definitely recommend and would rent again.

Lovely unit with a few flaws!

The stay was nice! There were a couple things that could have been added for a better experience. There was no hand soap in the kitchen or bathrooms, which we ended up buying. There was also no medium size saucepan which they provided after I called them. The seating in the balcony could have been much better. There are just 2 very uncomfortable chairs and a wobbly table. Wish there was more seating outside with more chairs and an outdoor rug. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay!
