Just a 3-minute drive to the slopes of Beech Mountain Resort, a 7-minute bike ride or 11-minute walk, this home puts you close to skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, sledding, and summer mountain biking with scenic views. Or simply take a scenic summer lift ride to enjoy mile long Blue Ridge Mountain views. You're also within easy reach of the Beech Summer Concert Series, local hiking trails, waterfalls, and breweries. Enjoy exploring other High Country adventures - an 11-minute drive brings you down the mountain to Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain or Buckeye Recreation Center. Grandfather Mountain, The Blue Ridge Parkway and Boone are all within an hours drive, making for endless opportunities for exploring the High Country.
Inside, you'll find a main-level living room with leather sofas gathered around a stacked stone gas fireplace and a big-screen TV with cable. The kitchen is quaint and functional, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a coffee cart to start your day. A Blackstone gas griddle is available on the deck, where you can relax in a peaceful wooded setting.
Sleeping arrangements include a main floor King bedroom and Queen bedroom that share a full bathroom. Upstairs, a spiral staircase leads to a sitting area with a comfortable sectional sofa, a second King bedroom, and a second Queen bedroom sharing a full bathroom. Another spiral staircase leads to the lower level kids' room with a twin-over-twin bunk bed, a TV, and an arcade game.
Additional amenities include WiFi, TVs with cable in all bedrooms, washer and dryer, and dog-friendly accommodations with an additional fee. 4WD or AWD is required during winter weather and chains may at times be needed. *Two pets are welcome with your reservation with an additional fee.
