This hotel is actually nice and clean. The only reason for the 3 star rating was the fact that we were about to miss our transportation when we left because of staff negligence. I asked them twice to call a cab for the morning of departure. I asked in person 24 hours in advance and again before I went to sleep and both times they confirmed the request was there and they will take care of the cab. Only to find out that when we got downstairs ready for the cab, there was no cab and the front desk person called and said that they have no cabs available for 15 minutes.
We ended up walking/ running with luggage to the train station that luckily was 1.5 miles away. I don’t even want to think what we would have done if we had to go to the airport.
This experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and cannot give more than 3 stars. A whole vacation could have been ruined but for our good physical condition to run to the train station.

Overall, staff were very nice, great location - close to cafes, bars, landmarks - spacious room. I would probably stay here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

Roof garden views we enjoyed. The staff were excellent. The local food especially la Flautia tapas restaurant is highly recommended.

We got a room by the elevator which was very noisy. The room couldn’t be locked from the inside so housekeeping entered without warning. The shower is made of glass and located in the middle of the room which was uncomfortable. Apart from that the location is pretty good and the service as well.
