This hotel is tucked away you can get there using the train and then a bus. I’m from London and I found my way. Also Georgio the owner of this beautiful house was so accommodating and gave me a lift to somewhere I needed to get to. Highly recommend this place to anyone that comes .

I went to use the jacuzzi and of course I put my stuff on the end table. It was really dark and I did not realize until I got back into my room that my towel was covered in dirt Stains Including my clothes. But it was too late when I removed the towel the dirt transferred to the bed. Now because of the lack of cleanliness around the jacuzzi they charged me extra money. And one of the ladies working there literally burated me in Spanish and called me cabron. The younger staff member though was very nice to me through my entire stay and understood That it was not my fault. Everything was beautiful on this property I just wish that the jacuzzi itself was maintained better and The area surrounding it because anyone who brings a towel to that Jacuzzi is going to get a dirty towel. It may have just been a bad day and i wouldnt have minded it since i was able to remove the stains from my clothes with water, but I didnt like being screamed at especially when i have autism and i began to cry from being overstimulated. All of the other staff were nice and understanding, though. If the owner doesnt charge me a fee like they threatened, ill come back and edit the review.

I booked the junior suite on Expedia which says it comes with a balcony and a hot tub, when I checked in they said their junior suite doesn’t come with that and showed me to less than stellar room. To top it off the shower head was laying on the floor because it was broken and couldn’t stay upright. I told him I booked the room with a hot tub and balcony and they said sorry it’s rented and they can’t do anything. I called Expedia the next day and they couldn’t help me either. Said they have to follow hotel guidelines. So on Expedia the junior suite says it has a balcony and hot tub which it doesn’t and the guy at the hotel said that happens a lot. Essentially I paid for a better room and got a crap room. I didn’t think that was fair so opted to stay elsewhere the second night (because they didn’t give me the room I paid for) and the hotel, nor Did Expedia would reimburse me.

In a very nice and quiet suburb. Amazing staff, Emma, Lina and Guadeloupe were great and made us feel very comfortable. One small downside. There was only a mirror in the bathroom, no mirror in bedroom

We like the charm of the place very much and the area it is in. We were placed in the wrong room initially due to language barrier but that was not an issue switching rooms. We only needed to sleep off the jet lag. The receptionist that came on duty in the afternoon was very friendly. The other staff appeared to be put out by us and not very friendly. One site states check out to be by noon and another by 11:30am however we had cleaning services actually come and open our door wide while we were in there and leave it open before 11:00am. Staff also appeared personally offended that I brought the coffee cups from the room to the breakfast area to fill and take back to the room. If you can speak Spanish I would highly recommend if you don't then you need to be aware of this environment. We did not let it deter us and fully enjoyed the room and grounds.

We’ve been traveling through 4 different countries in Europe, including Spain. When we reached this property in Barcelona, we were super impressed with the owner, Mercedes. She gave us a tour of the beautiful property, and gave us some recommendations on what we needed to see while in town. The hotel was very clean, and the service was SPECTACULAR. We’ll be back.

We really liked this hotel - we had a triple with a little balcony that was just lovely. This is definitely a small, historic boutique hotel, so definitely not for people looking for a modern, predictable, chain hotel. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood outside of Barcelona, so if you want to visit the city, a car is necessary. Breakfast (included!) was fabulous and the staff were very nice. the park-like setting and roof-top terrace would have been perfect for relaxing if we had more time! The Italian restaurant next door was also friendly, decent, convenient, and reasonably-priced.

Overall a great experience

Overall our stay was excellent. Mercedes (one of the owners) was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Her husband Giorgio picked the three of us up at the airport and we paid 80 Euros for the one way trip. The room was very clean, comfortable, and the terrace in our room was lovely! A great spot to do Yoga - whether you are on the terrace or grounds. Breakfast was a simple buffet and the service provided by Lina and Yuli was exquisite. One thing that could be improved: our toilet was not flushing well, which was a pain. Luckily, one of us knew how to troubleshoot this major inconvenience and we managed to flush it. As we were gathering our belongings to leave the hotel, we learned that the plumber had been in to fix it. I wish we had known about the valve that needed a bit of nudging when we arrived. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful spot to stay.

Outstanding hotel!!! I picked this hotel because it was the closest one to Club Esportiu so I didn’t expect too much given the limited number of reviews. I was surprised by how amazing it actually was. The breakfast included a nice spread of ham, cheese, croissant, and eggs made on the spot. They provided fresh squeezed orange juice, literally done in the spot. The service was top notch. I had trouble getting a taxi to take me from the club to the hotel, so I called the hotel hoping that they could call one for me. The lady who I found was the owner said she would come get me because it’s so close. She then offered to take me the club and bring me back each day. Amazing service! That’s something you just done see with hotels these days. The Italian restaurant next door which is owned by the hotel owners served delicious meals at a reasonable price. The only thing I didn’t get to do was to lounge on the upstairs terrace. Work got in the way of that. I would definitely come back again.

Place is a boutique bed and breakfast villa type property just outside of Barcelona, easy to get to the Barceloneta city center by regularly scheduled bus with train transfer- 1/2 hr. Place is very relaxing and safe. Rooms have bathrooms and their’s parking available, if you decide to rent. Transportation to port or other locations may be arranged with hotel. Place is recommended.
