Lovely hotel in the heart of Barcelona near the port. The hotel is in walking distance of many attractions such as the Picasso museum and Arc de Triomphe. The hotel serves a delicious buffet breakfast and the staff are helpful. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Outstanding experience!!!

I enjoyed staying at the Hotel Del Mar. I had a spacious clean room with balconies. The staff was helpful and friendly. I was able to check in early, and store my luggage. The buffet breakfast was plentiful.

We would definitely stay there again! They let check in hours before check in time, and they were always very helpful. It was so close to everything and the room was very clean. The only thing we can complsin about is that the pillows were way too firm.

Fantastic location! We walked everywhere, close to the beach and restaurants. Kind, helpful staff and quiet at night. The breakfast was absolutely worth the price, good quality food!

Great Stay!

Fabulous location within easy walking all around Barceloneta, the beaches and Port Vell. Right off of Metro and buslines, including both companies for Hop On/Off city wide touring buses. Good value for nightly pricing. Fourth floor - patio balconies - hidden gem!!! (Some traffic noise)

Room was very clean, great amenities. We had a veranda which was a surprise, we enjoyed the spot to relax and enjoy the view. About 20 mins walk to la rambla, maybe 15 mins to gothic quarter. Staff were nice. Our AC stopped in the middle of the night, they offered to move us to a different room but we opted to stay and just opened the door to the veranda. We stayed for one night.

It was ok, we had a rooftop deck but not really much in the way of services. The morning breakfast was really nice but you had to pay for that on top of your room fee as well as a fee for parking the car in a parkade away from the hotel. I feel as though it ended up being a lot of extra money for an ok hotel, no lobby, confusing check in with a car (no available 5 min parking) or any services. However, it was clean good location adjacent to Gothic area and the people were friendly!

This is not a cheap hotel but you would think so by the way the rooms are supplied. No shampoo, no conditioner, no Kleenex. I booked 2 rooms for 3 people. One had 3 beds and room to move. The other had a cot thrown in which blocked access to the closet…really a double. Also, charged 10% tax on the city tax. No other hotel I booked in Spain did. Feel like a hand in my pocket for no reward!

Amazing location, short walk to the beach, to the Gothic quarter, port and el Born area. Bus stop right in front of the hotel and metro station 2 minute walk away. Highly recommend!
