We had a nice room but it was in a separate block quite some way from the main hotel, just as well it was not raining whilst we stayed there. It was a bit confusing to find at first you have to drive round to block to get to the carpark and then our keys didn't work.The room (self catering) was well appointed but we could not use the balcony due to the weather and even in the summer the outlook was not great - a car park a road and a school. The main hotel was ok but the public areas are quite modest and the bar is effectively in a corridor so not a great place to sit and relax. Also the main restaurant is small and we had to sit outside for breakfast the second day. We did eat there in the evening and the meals and service was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful throughput.

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the train station. But it was a very pleasant surprise! Large yet very clean. Exceptional staff at front desk. Great restaurant with wonderful service. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff there were awesome as well. Our room was large and very comfortable, as was the bed. We had the pool (which is massive) all to ourselves for over an hour. The grounds surrounding the hotel are beutiful. Parking is easy and very affordable. Great stay, wish we had booked our 1st night in Bari here as well since we had a car to get us into town. If there's a next time, we'll be back.

Positives: staff both Bar (Hector and Grace) and front of house, Pool and garden Negatives: Room was smaller than normal, location is a good 2km from centre of Barri. Bathroom was small with insufficent lights and non working extractor fan. Room was attached to family room so was noisy when room was used by families. Food was o.k. but not at the level expected of a 4 star. Suspect that food is preprepared as unable to deviate at all.

We enjoyed staying for 4 nights as it had everything we were looking for after a 5 week holiday. We were able to slow down the pace here! Breakfast/dining in the evenings/drinks by the pool were readily accessible from early morning to late evenings. However, we felt the grounds around the pool were very unkept which spoilt the area. Many of the staff were exceptional while others were just doing their job. Room maintenance was excellent. We also enjoyed many of the meals each evening as we didn’t want to venture out of the hotel. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Property is ok, little outdated needs refreshing. The pool was subpar, water was hot and pumps didn’t seem like they were working to recycle the water. Honestly water was as hot as outside and we were charged for towels????? Coffee and drinks were a little overpriced and not to satisfaction. Personnel were very helpful and pleasant.

This girl could be great, but falls short in quite a few areas. Breakfast is a general shambles, with all cold drinks served in tiny plastic cups. Hot drink offers may or may not be taken. Ordering hot food is strictly at the chef area only (no ordering at table) and it's a lottery if it will be brought to your table or just have to guess when it's ready. Weird things are also just a bit half hearted - the safe in the room wasn't secured to anything and had ran out of battery and no crockery in room for coffee (just paper and plastic cups again) . There's also no bar for the pool and the couple of times I wanted a drink there was a long queue at the only bar inside (which you can't wear swimming costume in). Everything was really clean and the gardens are beautiful though. Bed was comfy and air con worked really well.

The garden and pool area were beautiful and very peaceful. The pool and its toilets needed to be cleaned. The room was very spacious but was slightly dated and the shower was small. There was a kettle and tea and coffee which was great. It would have been good to have a teaspoon and large china mugs rather than small paper cups. Also every other hotel we stayed in provided small bottles of still and sparkling water in the fridge each day. This one didn’t. The hotel was approx 15 minutes walk from the train & bus stations, and a further 10-15 minutes walk from the old town.

Wrong location

Nice modern hotel in lovely garden surroundings. Big swimming pool and plenty of areas to sit and relax. The location of the hotel is right next to the train lines and trains can be heard once out of our room. The area in our opinion is the wrong side of the train station as to get to the main old town is about 30 mins walk , and the amount of graffetti on the train wall was not pleasant on the eye. The hotel is of a good standard and the staff were very helpful

Very friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff and chef. We had one evening meal and this was 100euros for 2 very mediocre adult meals and 2 children meals, one pasta dish was inedible. We tried lunch at the bar and had the lasagne which was just pasta sheets, tomato puree and a few shopped pieces of ham, couldnt eat it as it had no taste so really couldnt recommend the meals at all. We were delighted we could use the spa area which had a hot tub but it sadly stank really badly or urine in the spa area. Pool area looks like it would be lovely when open and the gardens are really lovely to walk around but because of the meals we had we wouldnt return.
