We rented the house for the pool, it was green with algae, we tried swimming on Sunday but it was just too gross, I told the host, she didn’t respond until late Monday, pool person came out late Tuesday! We left Thursday at 11, pool is still green!! I could have gotten a much smaller house with no pool for half the price, I think I should receive at least half of my fee returned, the host insulted me with refund of 100, and a bag of popcorn.There were no wash cloths and only 1 hand towel, she did send some with the popcorn but I had already purchased some. I wanted to cook, we were there 5 days, the pots and skillets were awful, dishes were limited. Never again!Sandy AtesThe family room was very hot during the day, and the portable a/c air return smelled of dog poop, the yard was full of poop and high grass. The bbq patio area was terrible, patio cover leaked.I also got the house for the recliners, 2 we’re broken, fortunately there were 2 more. I will not stay there again or refer it to anyone. No local tv channels, play station game’s available didn’t workwork

Beaumont Cottage

Overall the house was fine and the pool was fantastic BUTTHE LISTING WAS A BEDROOM AND BED SHORT! It said 4 bedrooms that sleep 8 but also mentioned an office. Rooms and Beds are described as follows: Bedroom 1: king bed; Bedroom 2: Queen Bed; Bedroom 3: Queen Bed; Bedroom 4: 1 Twin; Office 1: Double. We found Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 (although the beds seemed more like full than queen). One room had a desk and a twin bed--so not sure if this was the other bedroom or the office. We were a group of 5 adults and picked this property as it clearly stated 5 separate spaces with 5 beds so everyone had their own space. There were 4 separate space and 4 beds. I'm including a screen shot of the room listing. The only other issue we had was the key to the door did not work but we did finally get in.

Nice Cottage

This sweet home has so much potential. Overall, the home gave us what I needed which was a big kitchen and dining room since I was fixing an early Thanksgiving dinner for my family
some local some from Dallas area. A few maintenance issues were my main dislike
.1) bad soft spot on dining room floor, leak in roof on a rainy day, dirty front porch/front walk. But overall could be a beautiful place to stay with a bit of help.The pool is awesome but because of time of year we didn’t use it but I certainly would if Summer!

The house is well appointed with a lot of vintage charm. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax with family. The pool was a bonus too! We would definitely return.

Great old historic district charm

Great location, spacious, pool and pet friendly was a great perk. Lots of extras made it convenient and cozy. The only reason I didn't score 5 stars was the air conditioning temp in house. The temp in house never got under 77 during day and 72 at night. Upstairs stayed hotter than that.

Great Stay for Out of Town Visitors

Loved staying at this cute house in historic neighborhood in Beaumont TX. Comfortable for four adults and 2 children. Enough space to have local family and friends stop by to visit.

Quick Visit Home

I really enjoyed the coziness of this property. Everything I needed was available for my family and I. I have stayed in several rental homes but the customer care of this home was by far the best. I would definitely choose this property again.

Great for families and pets.

We were disappointed there was no hot tub as advertised and a few minor cleaning details. Other than that, we loved the home and amenities available. The historic neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, nearby highways provide road noise that we appreciated as white noise. The pet toys, abundant supply of bedding, staple groceries and overall space was more than we expected. When we needed to reach the owner or property mgr late at night, they were very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Beaumont.

Beautiful House Great Host

This house is gorgeous and has a lot of space. They also have dog beds and toys for the fur babies. We had a great stay and Brittany was quick to responde to us and very kind. We highly recommend and will stay again in the future.
