The first impression is the smell as you walk in the front door - that dingy old pub carpet smell. The room was old but functional. The fridge was plugged in and on but my milk was warm in the morning. No hot water in the tap or shower despite leaving them running for ages. Won’t be back.

Easy to find parking around the property. Room has decent amenities, eg. Good bench space, microwave etc. the water temperature does fluctuate for the shower but you can manage.

The room had everything I needed. The staff were courteous. The Grand is a Meca for Bega, it's the real Bega experience, a good central location. I'll be back.

Staying at this old pub was wonderful. The rooms are old for sure, but everything worked perfectly fine and the beds were comfortable. A good price and in a good location. Highly recommended.
