House sits on 1 acre 1 mile from Dockside Restaurant on Torch Lake.
There is a Public beach area next to Dockside. We are across the street from Clam Lake public access and boat launch us 100 yards from the driveway, we are not waterfront and do not have a dock. Less than 10 min drive to World famous Torch Lake Sandbar. About a 15 min drive to the quaint town of Alden where you can enjoy delicious ice cream wine tasting andshopping. Enjoy Shorts brewery and downtown Bellaire 5 miles away and a Torch lake cellers winery, 1.5 miles away. Enjoy hiking through Glacial Hills trails 3 miles away and golf at Shanty Creek 6 miles . 35 minutes to Traverse City. 20 min to Turtle Creek Casino

Great weekend getaway

It was a great spot, just a quick ride to the marina where we rented our boat. Fire pit was big with lots of chairs.

Convenience to Torch and Clam Lakes without a big price.

We would rent again.The home is well stocked for a family, beds are comfortable, interior is clean, and deck is a very pleasant hang out (although, no shade during the day-so got quite hot). It’s composite material with a nice high top table for enjoying morning coffee.We didn’t use the fire pit, but it is nice, and wood is available (donation requested) on site. Window AC units kept the house cool even in 90 degree weather and extreme humidity. Agree w previous comments that 1 bedroom is essentially a renovated closet. We appreciated that it has a queen bed, but the room is a bit “squishy” and definitely needed a fan for circulation. Bunk beds are shaky, and our 7 year old grandson wasn’t comfortable sleeping on the top bunk. Furniture was comfortable. Carpet has stains. I suppose not uncommon with renting. WiFi worked well for a couple family members who, unfortunately, had to work during part of the vacation.

It felt more like staying at grandmas house. Couches are wore down with holes same with the patio furniture grill was very dirty carpet is old and stains downstairs smells wet like the basement smell the “4th bedroom” is a closet with a bed in it. I know the owner might mean well but this property could be so much more if it was updated.

Family Birthday Stay

We chose this location to be near torch lake, but still have room and at a decent price. This place was perfect for our families as we celebrated my father's birthday. We were able to bring our boats and have plenty of room for the adults, and small children. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and all needed items. Grill was great to use to cook. Proximity to the boat dock was superb. House was clean and description accurate. Communication with host was awesome. Would Definitely stay again. Thank you!

Nice house

Great place! Lots of room for our 3 families. Kids love the fire pit for s’mores and adults love it to sit and chill. Everyone loves the old Nintendo, big Jenga, and corn hole to play. Grill could of been cleaned so maybe suggests cleaners to check it. Only cleaning issue. Sure people just didn’t think about it.

Great getaway and awesome location

We had an outstanding time here. The house and grounds were better than expected. It has a well stocked kitchen. House is clean and comfortable. The fire pit is amazing. The location is great, close to dockside, Dewitt Marine, and the Clam Lake launch. Also just a few minutes to Bellaire and Alden. Definitely recommend!

Summertime in Michigan

We had a great time from this location. Close to a winery, Bellaire and Alden. Allowed us to use the lake with the boat launch very close. We had a great time using the large fire pit area to gather and hang out!

Great location. Rented a slip at Dewitts, which was only a short drive along with a short drive to Bellaire and Torch lake Cellars. Quite neighborhood. Very spacious, and quite homey. Met all our needs.

Clam Lake Cottage with Torch Lake Access

We had a great time at this cottage across the street from boat launch to Clam Lake. We put our boat in every day of our stay. Our extended family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids bw ages 3-11) had plenty of space and lots of supplies in kitchen. Dan was super responsive and helpful, and it was so easy to check in. We liked being a little bit removed from the road w space to park 3 cars, a boat, and yard for kids to run around. Also great to be close to Torch Lake Cellars, Bee Well Cidery and the Smokehouse in Bellaire. Our kids also loved the fire pit. Good WiFi for those of us who still had to do some work.
