Additional Details:
- Check-in at Snow Summit Unit #44 rental office (open 9am to 5pm). After hours check-ins, call night manager at the phone number on the office door. - Parking Permit for 2 vehicles. -$25 check in fee after midnight.
Check in office is less than a minute away from the unit. You would be hard pressed to find a closer unit to the mountain. We walked back for lunch, took a soak in the hot tub and headed back for an afternoon session. While it is true that the downstairs TV is challenging you can screen cast anything you want from an iPad or iPhone. All in all great value for the price. Next year I won't be looking at any other options.
The Townhouse was Amazing. It was perfect size for us and the location couldn't have been better. We could walk to the slopes in like 2 mins. And also loved the hiking trail that is right behind the townhouse.
Everything was perfect, except that the TV in the living room has to be at least twenty years old, and was pretty much a wall decoration. To give you an idea of how old it is, Netflix is on it, but when you try using the app, it says the device is no longer supported. I spent probably about an hour cumulatively trying to figure out how to make the thing useable to no avail. They are so cheap these daysâŠinvest in something please?
Terrible!
The unit and the location are great.
However!!
Our trip included my wifeâs parents who are 65 years of age, who wanted to watch my boys Snowboard. All the beds in this condo are extremely hard foam mattresses. They were so hard that none of us could sleep, and my wifeâs parents ended up leaving after the first night with extreme back and neck pain. Frustrating!! These were the hardest beds Iâve ever experienced just short of the floor. My wife and I decided to tough it out so as not to disappoint our boys. We did so by putting all the pillows on top of the bed so that we slept on pillows for the next 3 nights. Needless to say, my wife and I are exhausted, and her parents are sad they missed the boys Snowboarding. This was an incredibly frustrating end to a planned family Christmas trip.
