Cozy Ski In/Out Penthouse! Hot Tub, Fireplace, Pool Table, Walk to Resort!
Welcome to 29 Slalom Trail #302! This property is located in a complex with similar unit numbers on each building! Please look for 29 Slalom Trail first, then find unit 302 on the top floor.
This 3,000+ sq. ft. Beaverhead penthouse unit with a private indoor hot tub is truly a one-of-a-kind in its complex. Enjoy the spectacular views from the deck while the sun shines. Located steps away from Big Sky Resort, enjoy the multiple restaurants and shopping opportunities available nearby.
In the summer, a number of fun activities for the whole family are available a short 5-10 minute walk from your condo. Hike the "Moose Tracks" trail at Big Sky Resort, before enjoying a relaxing sunny afternoon paddleboarding or lounging by the "beach" at Lake Levinsky.
In the winter, skiing starts right out your front door! Skiers of all abilities can ski-in/ski-out of this condo. For Ski out access, guest would walk out to the end of the road Downhill Dr and jump on the run "White Wing" and ski that down to the "Explorer Lift". You may do this, or if you stay high enough, you can take the groomed trail through the trees and get to "Swift Current" and "Ramcharger" lifts. You would need to start on the higher end of the Beaverhead homes and cut straight across into the trees. Some might have a hard time based on ability or mobility. Skiing in, you would need to make your way towards the Explorer Lift area. Get onto "White Wing" and ski back to the road Downhill Dr. This condo sits within ski-in/ski-out proximity to Big Sky Resortâs new Explorer Gondola, offering effortless access to the slopes and base area amenities.
Big Sky Resort's "Basecamp to Yellowstone" provides year-round fun for people of all ages, with a wide range of activities from scenic lift rides in the summer to guided snowshoe tours in the winter. If you are looking to get your adrenaline pumping, visit Basecamp to fly through the trees on either the "Nature" or "Adventure" zipline!

This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.
Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport: In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!
Location was exceptional (was a short walk to run, much better than from a parking lot!) and amenities fantastic. Bedding glorious and fireplace fantastic. Such a nice surprise to have ample to, paper towel, coffee filters, spices, games, etc! We will definitely be back!
This condo had everything we needed for a great guys trip to big sky. The walk up the stairs to the third floor would be tough in ski boots but they have a room off the garage you can store your boots and swap shoes down there. Location was great, you can ski down to the edge of the property and pop right back in for lunch, then pop back out and slid down to Explorer lift. Fantastic solid built in bunks for kids or teens. Very happy.
The property was nice, but be ready to raise your heart rate. Itâs on the third floor, which made unloading and packing exhausting. Plus, it was a hike to get to the first ski run. However, very easy to return! Also, when we booked the property, it was advertised as having a real wood fireplace, but they decided not to allow fires.
Here are a few suggestions for future stays:
- bleach the inside of the hot tub cover (very musty)
- missing light bulbs
- garage/ski space was very dirty
- washing machine broke, but was fixed immediately
Overall, it was a nice property, but weâll likely not return to this specific property. Two Pines Property Management was great, so weâll check out other rentals.
Great property- well stocked. Had more room than we even needed for 3 couples. Hot tub is indoors and was enjoyed! Guys enjoyed the pool table. The heated room for ski gear off the garage is such a treat! Beaverhead is ski-out but you do have to hike a little behind the building to get to the slopes. Would stay here again!
Great property, good location. It actually comfortably sleeps more than advertised which was a bit frustrating because two friends went elsewhere because I thought I couldnât accommodate them! Fireplace wasnât working and need better explanation of where to put the trash when your inside bins are full (we eventually worked it out) but otherwise highly recommend staying there
