I didn’t have breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful however the room was not very clean with snot on walls, dust, hairs in the room on the carpet and bed, some of the lights didn’t work and was very cold at for hours until the heating finally started working. Overall it was ok thanks to the staff on the front desk and the service

The room is advertised as being soundproofed. It isn’t. We were two floors above a corporate event and were told it would be going on beyond midnight. The noise was so bad we packed up, left and drove home and didn’t stay. We asked for an alternative room first but there supposedly weren’t any. It takes a lot to walk out on a hotel. They need to decide whether they want corporate business or act like a hotel for residents. They are incapable of being both.

Excellent location, especially for the Symphony Hall. Clean room, friendly staff. Only disappointment was there was only 1 hand towel & 1 bath towel for 2 of us, didnt realise until I was in the shower & my husband had had his. I'm sure I could have asked for one but was in a rush.

We stayed there because of proximity to tram stop and the show venue we were attending. Unfortunately, it can be extremely noisy outside on Friday and Saturday nights until 2 or 3am and not even the double glazing can diminish it! The breakfast is expensive but we paid for it. One morning, my husband asked if he could have an omelette and was told that it would cost us £6+ extra!!! There was no porridge either. We stayed 3 nights.

Staff were helpful at check in and check out. Lobby was nice. Unfortunately that’s all there is to say. The room is dated , starting with carpet, walls, electric sockets, split toilet//bath. The hotel feels like stuck in the 80s time zone and is in need for a refurb - urgently!

Great location, easy use of car park which was very convenient. Reception staff not so friendly but breakfast staff made up for that. There was no hot water in the morning for a shower as there was a problem with the boiler. However understand that these things happen but was glad that I used shower night before. The coffee machine wasn’t working but maintenance guy was sent up to sort it and provided a new one. I would stay again.

The reception and bar area look great, however room very dated, stairs was dirty ( walking down from 6th floor). A party was on until 1am, we didnt know was planned, with guests vomiting in numerous places. Sleep was ruined by passing traffic ( horns) and local nightlife. Then early hours of morning an alarm went off ( not sure where from) again waking us. When we checked out around 10am, the frint of hotel was covered in cigarettes ends, rubbish from takeaways, vomit the list could continue.
