The room was clean and well appointed. Didnât see another human the whole time we were there⊠but there was a lot of charm!
The amenity bar was a thoughtful touch. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was pristine and the office manager was the best! She was very friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed learning the history of The Painted Lady. It is definitely a gem and if we are ever in Birmingham again, we will definitely be staying there.
The room was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful place to stay with many walkable eating options.
There is no lot. There is street parking. Desolate part of town. Sort of seedy. No coffee. No waters. No ice. Door was not sealed anyone could throw something under. Light seeping all 4 sides. Needs fixed. All door handles opened up. Toilet flushed up. Hall had a mini fridge with no waters. No drinks. There was a hot pad with a kettle in it. A sink to use tap water and you could wait for it to get hot. No Keurig or any drink station in room or hall. Coffee blocks away. No iron. No place to hang your clothes. It was odd. Hipster, interiors- first rate. Draperies on point- French return rods with sheers. Pillows, sheets, bedding and towels- probably better than The Ritz Carlton. Bonus points for Yellow Submarine the lobby Golden Retriever. He made me smile. Overall a cool vibe but if the fixed the door, added ice, water and a real coffee station on each floor I would have been much happier. These are must to accommodate guests. đ
The front desk staff's customer service is truly unmatched. Absolutely outstanding. Great location. Clean rooms. No elevator & no fridge in room but no issue. Absolutely would stay again.
My needs were met - although with no elevator I feel lucky I was on the 2nd floor - and the front desk girl was sweet and incredibly helpful. Love the architecture and interior design!
Really cute hotel with lots of personality. Very comfortable room. Front desk was very helpful- recommended a fantastic restaurant right in the neighborhood
The king suite room was beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The location felt random when we first got to town, but after driving around the next day, I realized itâs super close to lots of restaurants and shopping. We had no issue with street parking.
The entryway felt very awkward. Maybe some background music would help the space feel more welcoming and less weird? The walls are also very thin. We had a very loud neighbor and couldnât sleep. You also hear everything out in the hall. If it werenât for the noise, I would have no hesitation in recommending this place.
The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very clean. We had a corner king room and it was so big and very clean. The bed was so comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be staying there again.
The hotel was extremely clean and very beautiful inside and was perfectly within walking distance of everywhere we went for our night in Birmingham! Would definitely stay again and the service was top notch!
Great place. Terrible communication on the fact that there are no elevators on site. Not fun when bringing in luggage or after habing a late night out.
The parking was conveniently located and easy to walk a few steps to the lobby. The interior decorating and amenities were great! The room was very, very welcoming and comfortable.
