(Cabin is approx. 40 yards from the river & you have full access to the common area which consist of the River, River bank & swimming hole).Relax in the back porch swing while watching the sun disappear behind the mountains & star gazing at night. 1 bedroom with lodge furnishings, Master bedroom has king size bed, bath has a large walk in shower (No Tub). Modern appliances, linen's furnished, kitchen utensil's, regular coffee maker, blender, large porch with rockers & swing, charcoal grill & fire ring. Smart Tv , STREAMING ONLY.

The property was exactly as listed and more ! The back porch with mountain view was gorgeous, and the location was perfect for visiting around Helen for Octoberfest but not having to stay in the chaos . The stream was beautiful and the fish were biting ( note they are catch and release ) and you could hear it from the porch when swinging. Thank you for a wonderful time , we will be back !

This was our third time staying at your cabin and it was just as clean as it could be. Love your new upgrade in the shower. We came to celebrate my wife’s 82nd birthday. We look forward to hopefully returning again in the future. The peace and quiet was what we needed.

The house was clean the bed was great. The fishing was fishing not catching the fish were there but not biting you could see them swimming around. All an all the cabin was real nice. There were a few thing we thought were missing like salt& peper in kitchen and a bar of soap in shower. It was a quit setting we would come back a stay again.

Nice cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bear Claw cabin. It was neat, clean and welcoming when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed for preparing our meals. Coffee maker worked well. The only reason I gave 4 stars (and not 5) was in the property management category. That is with VRBO and not the owner. When VRBO did not answer my question about the entry code, I had to call the owner. He was very nice and helpful. I had received an email saying I would receive the checkin code a couple days before our stay (which I thought was too early!). It never came. Even after asking again the night before, no reply. I called the owner the next morning and he gave me the information I needed. I want to emphasize that the problem was with VRBO and not with the owner!We want to visit the area again, and I will be checking to see if this cabin is available for our dates!

My husband and I stayed at Bear Claw cabin while celebrating our 22nd anniversary. The cabin was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable. The view from the back porch was beautiful. The location was great. It was close enough to downtown Blairsville to enjoy shopping and eating out. It was far enough away from downtown to be very peaceful.
