Good hotel. Showing it's age a bit. Good Internet. The front desk charged me the hotel tax even though I am not from Colombia. I'm irritated by that but overall I'm satisfied.

I work in Bogota every other month. i usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn but my friend recommended this hotel to try. When my babies mother and i checked in everything was good. But by the second day i had security knock on my door at 830pm asking if i needed my room clean. But i feel they thought i was doing something shady. It made me very uncomfortable. I believe they thought that woman i was was with was a working woman. When in fact shes the mother of my daughter in Colombia. Shes venezuelan and i felt disrespected. i had an early flight at 4am and i was trying to nap. To have security ( not cleaning staff) bother me made me very upset. The only food thing about this hotel is the breakfast. Also the junior suite had a sewer smell. Ill never stay here again.

Buena experiencia general, pero con oportunidades claras de mejora Me hospedé recientemente en el GHL Hotel Capital en Bogotá y, en general, tuve una buena experiencia. Las instalaciones son modernas, cómodas y bien cuidadas, lo cual genera un ambiente agradable desde el primer momento. En cuanto a la atención, el personal del restaurante fue muy atento y profesional, al igual que los chicos del bar y del área de spa, quienes realmente se destacan por su amabilidad y disposición al servicio. Sin embargo, el área de recepción dejó mucho que desear. Llamé varias veces desde la habitación y no contestaron el teléfono, lo cual no es aceptable para un hotel de esta categoría. Además, he tenido la oportunidad de hospedarme en varios GHL en otros países y siempre han ofrecido ciertos detalles sin necesidad de pedirlos, como chancletas, kits dentales y otros amenities, los cuales no recibí en esta ocasión. Creo que el hotel tiene mucho potencial, pero sería ideal que mejoren la atención al cliente en recepción y estandaricen los servicios en todas sus sedes, para mantener la calidad que caracteriza a la cadena GHL.

“Resort fees” for literally none resort like tupe of amenities or services. It is just one step above a motel. I do not mind paying “resort fees” when I get resort type of amenities and services
