Porta Mascarella Apartment by Wonderful Italy

Recently-renovated apartment, furnished in a modern style, featuring two spacious double bedrooms, suitable for families and groups of friends.



Located in a convenient position close to Bologna central station and the historic center, the apartment is on the first floor of a residential building in a quiet area.

The house develops along the hallway: at the right of the entrance there is the bathroom, fitted with a shower and a washing machine, and one of the two bedrooms, furnished with a queen size bed, a spacĂŹous wardrobe and a comfortable armchair. At the opposite side, you will find the other bedroom with a queen size bed and a dresser.

From the middle of the corridor you will enter the living area, which comes with a dining room with a table and a fridge, and an open-plan kitchen equipped with an oven and a microwave.

Free wifi and heating will be at guests’ disposal.



*Please be informed that the city center is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.



*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragĂč alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.



10 minutes walking distance from the apartment there is the central train station while the airport is 15-minute drive away.

Dans l’annonce on parle de parking , mais que des payant, et 3,90 euros de l’heure.Pas prĂ©venu dans l’annonce qu’il y a des zones ZTL.La cuisine pas de couverts disponible et peu de vaisselles. Chambres propres et pas mal de commerces.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but it is important to note the apartment has no AC. It is omitted in the description, and when I asked if the apartment had AC prior to our stay, I got no response. We managed ok with the time honored window and blind management, until it got over 90 degrees most of the day. Then, it was just very hot in the apartment.Great, small shower, comfortable beds, somewhat confusing garbage management if you dont speak Italian or know how these systems work in Italy.Overall, this would be a wonderful place in the winter.

Terrible service -No Show!!!er. Rude and disrespectful people. Never did fix the shower for a week!

The shower was completely broken. They didn’t show up for two days and then didn’t fix a thing. Always with the excuses! Do not trust these people.

A below average rental

Dishwasher didnt work. Overall, pretty dirty. Most any surface you could run a finger across it and get a wad of dust. If you looked closely, every corner had a dirt brown film. Dishes not clean. Hot water was scalding hot, but you did need it to sanitize the dishes. Really remind me of a dormitory apartment.

Bologna trip

Property was lovely and comfortable. Was just tricky trying to check in early as we couldn’t get hold of person once we did they kindly said we could leave our bags at the office but by then it was too late as we were trying to get to Bologna football match so had to pay to leave them at the station. If we could’ve arranged this previously it would’ve been much less stressful but unfortunately no communication until on the day. Apartment was great though, perfect location.
