It may be that they're still trying to gear up after covid. Room was good. Restaurant was not open for dinner. People were sent across the street to the BierGarten. Air conditioning did not work. No beverage service (coffee) in the rooms ... Schade....

Posted Jul. 25, 2021 on Hotelswe arrived at 5pm on a sunday and the hotel was completely shut. No way to get in. No one answered the bell. A couple sitting outside said that the only person there was an old lady who was hard of hearing and used a walker so that we should be patient. We waited 20 minutes and then decided that a hotel that was not open when guests were expected was not up to par. the grounds were barely kept and the location was not as advertised.

Pros: log tub
some staff very nice
Cons: a lot ...
Location: okay, fields of fruit, a castle ruin in the background, but also railroad tracks, fruit packing place and some industry ... bus once an hour
if one gets over a 4 star rating and looks at it as a 3 then it is a decent 3 with a mixture of old and new mixed together including staff who was excellent and staff who was the opposite. For non own transportation the bus runs once an hour.

Finally, nice fat pillows!
Posted May 14, 2017 on HotelsGreat comfy bed with real pillows. Free underground parking, good because it was raining when we got there. OK breakfast. Very nice "breakfast lady"!! Refrigerator in room. Only complaint is that we were over the restaurant and smokers stood around under our balcony.

Very good choice for those who have a car and want free parking not far from Bolzano. Good breakfast. Charming flowers on your room balcony.
