A great place to stay in Bordeaux on the tram line into the city. Modern clean rooms with convenient facilities. Moxy has its own culture and sits well in the Marriott family.

The AC DID NOT WORK the entire stay. It was not just our room, it was the entire hotel. How doesn’t a well-known brand have functional AC IN JUNE! I don’t accept the “saving the environment” argument as I am posting this review from a three-star hotel room in Lyon! I have been to 30+ European countries and 40+ European cities, the experience in Bordeaux was the worst one due to the hotel’s lack of air conditioning. Also, the location sucks! It is quite far from city center. For the price Moxy charges, this hotel was a massive let down! The location is de facto next to a junk yard!

Several members of our wedding party stayed here on each side of the wedding week. Both times we stayed the staff was truly amazing. From the welcome "tea" to storage of luggage and serving cold beers at the bar they were great! Safe new hip area with lots of food options. Would stay here again.
