I recently checked into this hotel today for one night. The bathroom tub is unsanitary and dirty. I went to the front desk and asked for bleach, scrubber and gloves to clean the tub myself. The front desk person was lovely and she offered to change my room, unfortunately I was unable to because my 11 year old son is currently sleeping and suffers from epilepsy and waking him up from his sleep is a trigger for seizures. She advised that she would have the bathtub cleaned within 15 minutes. We traveled from New York City as my son is going to be admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital tomorrow for the next few days. I prepaid $325.72 for one night to be placed in a room that reeks of mold, moisture, mildew and the bathtub is not suitable for use. This is completely unacceptable. We traveled 4 hours via Amtrak to check in to a boutique hotel that is not sanitary. I have attached a photo for reference.

Great location near plenty of restaurants/bars and stores. Room overlooked the Boston Marathon finish line. There is only one parking spot available for check in and parking is down a few blocks at a parking garage for $35 per day. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good Hotel for Solo Travel

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was in a great area (Back Bay right by a Blank Street location). I loved that they were able to store my luggage when I was traveling before I can check in and after I checked out, that was huge for my trip. I loved the VHS/DVD option, it was a nice touch. The housekeeping was great and gave me fresh towels and had my bed made every day, which was really nice. I loved that they had 24/7 desk and locked the front door at a certain hour. It made me feel safe to stay there as a solo traveler. I wish the free breakfast was earlier, because by 6am I was out and about for the day. The water in the shower wasn't the greatest temperature wise. The AC was making a weird sound, so I had it turned off during the night (so wasn't a big deal to bring up). I also wished there was an area where I would be able to sit and relax that wasn't a restaurant or a bar, even if it was outside. I wasn't much at the hotel because of that. But overall, would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to a solo traveler.

Seeing as I am sleeping in my car outside of the hotel tonight, I am really unhappy with my stay. Much of my belongings are upstairs in the room and I can’t access them. I was given a code to get into the hotel, but clearly the door was jammed. They do not have anybody on site for any kind of emergency. I will not be paying for my room tonight.

A pleasant hotel in the heart of Back Bay near shops and restaurants. They were very helpful with parking (a discount at a local garage) and the room was clean and nicely laid out.

Good stay if you can stay for a decent price,

Hotel was fine, nothing bad and nothing outstanding. Thing I found weird was they still use actual physical keys instead of key cards. overall I'm glad I didn't pay over $200 a night to stay here. Worth it for that but not worth it to pay more. It is located in a convenient place.
