One lanai faces the bay — that's where the sunrise happens. The other faces the Gulf — that's where the sunset happens. Coquina Moorings 202 sits on the second floor, giving both lanais an elevated water view and a little more distance from the pool deck below. Bay on one side, Gulf beach directly across the street, and both orientations in the same unit.

The screened lanai off the living room and master bedroom overlooks the bay and the heated pool. Sit out here in the morning with coffee while the light comes up over the water. The second lanai off the guest bedroom faces the Gulf — perfectly positioned for the evening. Guests who book 202 tend to migrate between the two depending on the time of day.

The shared boat dock on the bay is available for fishing or bringing your own vessel. NO onsite boat trailer parking available.
The heated pool sits directly on the bay alongside it — one of the more distinctive pool positions in Bradenton Beach.

The unit sleeps six across two bedrooms and a den. The master has a king bed. Both guest sleeping spaces have queen beds — a different configuration from the sofa bed setup in other units, and the right choice for three couples or a family who want proper beds throughout. Two full bathrooms keep the mornings manageable. The den works as a flexible third sleeping space or a sitting room when the extra bed isn't needed.

The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. High-speed WiFi throughout. The Gulf beach is directly across the street. Beach chairs are available — note that a beach umbrella is not provided, worth packing or renting one locally. The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby for exploring the full length of the island without moving your car.

Coquina Moorings 202 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for one vehicle. Not pet-friendly. NO onsite boat trailer parking available.

Great location

We loved this location. The easy access to both the gulf and the bay was perfect for us. We enjoyed fishing and catching blue crab from the docks in the early mornings and evening and spending our day on the beach. The trolley stop was close and convenient for our trips to restaurants. The only negative was the sewer odor someone else had complained about and that only happened on the 4th or 5th day of our stay. We weren’t sure if it could be a plumbing issue from this unit or actually one below but I’m sure this can and will be diagnosed and corrected and will not deter us from renting again. We definitely would love to return soon.

Amazing

We had never been to this area of Florida before and honestly didn’t know where to stay, but this property was in the perfect location. Out the back of the property is a pool and the bay for fishing and out the front is a 100 foot walk to the beach. There are restaurants within walking distance or you can take a short drive into Bradenton for more eating. When I say this place couldn’t have been in a better location, I mean it. It was perfect. This may end up being our permanent vacation spot. The only downside I can complain about, and it’s minor, is that the property doesn’t have an elevator so you have to lug your belongings up a couple flights of stairs. Again, it’s a minor inconvenience but nothing that would cause me to rate it any lower than 5 stars. Thanks for having us!

The rest of us enjoyed being able to walk across the street and enjoy every day at one of the most beautiful beaches. The pool was very clean and refreshing. We called in for repair of the kitchen faucet and it was addressed and replaced within 2 hours on a Sunday. Great customer service and response to requests. The whole family loved our stay.

Paradise from Sun Rise to Sun Set

We loved our stay! I could cook in the kitchen and see the sunrise to my left and later see the sunset to my right. The unit had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having the screened-in porches. We went to the beach every day ... beautiful crystal clear blue water. We set up our canopy each day and could see it from our room. My brother-in-law brought his boat and it was wonderful having the docks that he could see from the back porch. It's a nice, quiet complex and the people that we met were very friendly. The free trolley came by right in front of the complex and just 9 blocks away is Bridge Street which has lots of shopping, food, and pier fishing. We are looking forward to coming back!

We all had our own space but also plenty of room to be in the living room, dining room area & kitchen. It worked very well for our family. very very thankful for the air conditioning in mid July. The rental company was very helpful with renting beach gear, crib & high chair at reasonable cost. they were very responsive & helpful with a needed repair to a folding chair. The unit was pretty clean. It needs some more updating or sprucing up so it made me feel it was not clean but it actually was.

Beach out the front, Bay out the back. The docking at the condos is nice and up to date for our boat. Easy access and public boat ramp near by. Water levels at the condo boat dock are good-always. Quick hop across the street and your toes are in the sand and swimming pool is really nice & quiet. This is our first year in unit 202. The condo is in need of updating. Master Bath recently updated and is nice. Some simple, inexpensive fixes would be adding bed skirts to cover the box springs and remove some of the excess furniture in the master. Would make it more aesthetically pleasing. Removing excess non essentials from kitchen cabinets. Felt a bit like garage sale explosion. Kitchen in need of complete re-do and reorganization(The neighbors in 201 have done a great job/redesign in their kitchen). Beds in 202 were comfy - all of them. Pillow and linens were good as well (professionally laundered). I've seen other reviews and can attest personally that in the evening (happened every night) for about an hour, there would be a back draft of sewage smell in the kitchen/living area. Then it would clear and you wouldn't smell it again until the next evening, oddly around the same time as the night before. Mystery. Take that as you will, it certainly wasn't unbearable. The girls at Island Vac Prop were exceptional. Great service. Very friendly and helpful. Had a situation with our boat trailer and they provided top shelf assistance in getting the issue resolved. Highly recommend using them to search for a perfect AMI property. Unit 202 just needs a little love. If nothing I've mentioned matters to you, then by all means - book it! You'll have a blast!

The nice and not so nice

First off, this property is a bit dated and had no beach items like chairs umbrellas etc. you have to rent those. When we arrived, I found 3 of 4 patio chair hinges broken and unusable. When I asked about it via email, I received no response but the next morning the maintenance man dropped off 4 chairs from lowes. The biggest issue really is the the property management company does not communicate with you. It’s not that they don’t take care of issues but they don’t respond with an email or a call to acknowledge your contact. Towards end of trip we noticed kichen sink was leaking. The plumbing was a horrendous hodgepodge of piping by someone who didn’t know what they were doing including a joint wrapped in duct tape. They “fixed” the leak but the hodgepodge remains. The biggest concern was a foul odor that has been commented about in previous reviews. I personally emailed the property management people before we came and asked if it had been fixed. They said it was fine. It is NOT fine. It stinks like sewer. Having been a plumber, I immediately started looking for a dry trap or something or hypothesizing trap siphoning. After further research, it is definitely coming from the duct work. It needs a serious cleaning or it’s the A coil or maybe mold in the tray. I don’t know. At about 4 pm it was terrible. In cool part of morning you did not notice it much. Now is this a deal breaker? Maybe. If you have a sensitive nose……maybe. I noticed like if you owned dogs etc, you get a strong overwhelming whiff when you open the front door. But you acclimate to it pretty quickly as long as you don’t stand by the stove with the register right over your head. It is strongest there it seems. But to me I thing a really good duct cleaning/ac cleaning would solve this problem. If this was done, I would totally rent this place again. The pool is nice, back docks nice for sunrises, beach right across the street. Really fantastic. The rental management team left much to be desired. When I told them them about the smell after we checked in, they did not respond to my concern at all. This lack of transparency and communication was very unprofessional in my opinion. Our vacation was great as we did not spend too much time inside. Place is a winner if they seriously address and remediate the odor problem.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all we had a great time as this was our first visit to Anna Maria. The condo location was good but the condo itself needed attention. It was pretty dated with a lot of wear and tear and the carpets were extremely dirty. We were almost afraid to walk on them without shoes on. The condo was not occupied the week before we arrived so there was time to have the rugs cleaned but for what ever reason they were not. To be honest for the price we paid the rugs should have been cleaned before we arrived if our future business was desired at this rental. As it stands we will look at other properties first for potential future stays

We had an amazing time at Coquina Moorings. The best of both worlds. The Condo was very clean, and comfortable. The only small issued that we had was the beds in the second , and third bedroom. Needs an update on the Mattresses. Other than that was perfect.

We absolutely loved this place. The location was perfect, we had the bay out back to fish in and right across the road was the beach. And the unit itself was awesome!!! Plenty of room and very clean!!!! I would highly recommend this place!!!

There's alot of shops, restaurants and things to do on Bridge Street. Our condo was nice. It could use a little updating but was clean and we would definitely go back. The pool at the condo is nice but they could use more umbrellas by the pool We went the first week in June and it was very hot. So a few more umbrellas would of been nice. They have a garbage can by the pool and it was not emptied the whole week we were there. The bathrooms by the pool we're not kept up or cleaned the whole week we were there. Them couple of things I guess we're minor because I would definitely go back!

With a balcony on the front and one in the back,it offered lovely views of both gulf and bay. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipt. Cleanliness was just okay, and there was a strong sulfur/sewer odor off and on throughout the week in our unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo had it's issues but Island Vacations took care of it. Hot water heater went up our fist day there but it was replaced on Monday and we had hot water again. Later in the week the AC unit stopped working but that was taken cared of the same day. There was a very strong sewer smell in the condo at times. We reported it and was told it was probably just coming from the bay but it wasn't. It was coming from somewhere in the condo for sure. Smell of rotten eggs left out in the heat and it was terrible. The condo needs updated,

Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time! This place is the best of both worlds. We had wonderful clear views of both the bay and the gulf. The dock provided a great place to fish and keep our kayaks. Inside, the air was cold, the place was clean and comfortable. The decks are screened and provided a nice breeze to run through the condo at nights. Thank you for the wonderful vacation!
