When we arrived, the room was 55 degrees. The boiler heat wouldn't heat the room. We had to keep the fireplace going and use a space heater that was present in the room. The room was not clean. We booked thru Expedia and when we tried to address issues, there was no return phone call by Main Street Management. We were told by Expedia that Main Street said they didn't have to return our calls because we booked thru a third party. We do not recommend this place for your stay.

Poor Start

Our stay got off to a poor start. While the desk clerk provided good information, I became confused. When I asked for clarification on several items, she responded with a smirk. We both noticed this. When we arrived at our room, the toilet overflowed through no fault of ours. The good news is maintenance, Steve, arrived promptly and fixed the problem.

Its a beautiful property with a great location. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and have comfortable beds.
