Amazing Property in the Heart of Breckenridge!

This home is exceptional and exactly as advertised. We had a family of 14 stay for a week in June, 2025 and it was a wonderful time. Downtown is just steps outside the front door, easy access to dining, shopping, bike trails, the gondola etc. Communication with the property manager was timely and any questions/issues that came up were taken care of promptly. Our family highly recommends this property and we hope to be back again next year!

Perfect house and spot for 8 adults and 9 kids trim 1 to 13. Easy to walk everywhere and great sleeping accommodations. Would definitely do it again!

Wonderful house in an absolutely incredible location. There is a slightly awkward house/bedroom layout, but that pales in comparison to the perfect location. This house was ideal for a big family ski trip. 5 stars for sure!

Great spot in Breck!

The property was amazing, and the property management was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. There was plenty of space for my coworkers to spread out, and the renovated property met all of our expectations. I highly recommend this location and will stay there again!

Great location, great house

The house is great for a large group. It is close to everything. You can walk to the Gondola, shopping, and dining. There is a grocery store very convenient, and it has everything like you would see at home. The views are amazing. Having the two kitchens was very nice and they were stocked with everything we needed. We received a very quick response to any questions we had and the check-in / check-out process was very simple.

Fantastic in so many ways

The River House is a great option for larger groups that want room to spread out! It is perfectly located on the main thoroughfare in Breckenridge, allowing for an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the gondola. The hot tub in the back along the river was a great spot for the group to enjoy in the evening and offered beautiful views in the morning to start the day. Check in and out was absolutely seamless.

Perfect for families

This house is so special and in the most perfect location. We used the space for a little friend-family reunion and it was perfect. The kids loved the outdoor area and creek, the house was very spacious and it was a treat to be so close to coffee, churros and donuts every morning. Our trip was in the summer but we definitely want to come back in the winter!

Cleanliness, Hospitality, and Location Made This VRBO Stay A Family Reunion to Remember

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and spacious home. We loved having access to both kitchens and could easily spread out between the dining tables, living area, sitting area, and outdoor space that included a hot tub. We were just steps away from the gondola and appreciated being able to walk Main Street without having to find parking. We also enjoyed listening to the river run in the back yard. The upgraded kitchens were fully stocked. If you have older family or friends, make sure they can manage stairs, but if stairs are not a concern, you will love this place!

Perfect Location

This is the perfect property for a large group who likes to ski during the day and hang out on the town at night. Place is literally 100 yards to gondola and 100 ft to Main Street. I would take this property over any ski/in out house on the mountain. Plenty of space and good “hang out” area in basement. Highly recommend.

Amazing Location

We traveled as a group of 3 families and this house worked out so well. The location really can’t be beat. You can walk to everything in town and the gondola is right there. The patio overlooking the river and mountains was a favorite spot for everyone!

Wonderful Stay so close to the slopes

The location of the property is incredible. Right near everything in town and a 2 minute walk to the gondola to get to the slopes. The house was so clean and cozy and we really enjoyed the hot tub too. Would recommend this house to anyone!

Good overall experience. Not all the rooms had humidifiers so every morning you woke up stuffy and dry nosed/cotton mouthed. No ventilation in the house That we found. The hot tub didn’t work until the last day either. Overall I’d say 8/10. I’d stay again for the location alone. Ski rental is directly next door as well

Lovely house but needs a deep clean

We had a lovely family holiday, the house suited our needs with everyone having their own room and bathroom but we did feel that a deep clean was needed and a little maintenance was required. The dinning room was a fantastic family space with all the family being able to sit together to eat. Location to the gondola was perfect (a very short walk) We did report that the house needed a good clean and Ms Mary replied that she would be contacting the cleaners.

Perfect house for family gathering. Mary is a awesome Host and will help with anything you need. The views are amazing and everything's within walking distance from hiking trails,grocery store ,bars and restaurants. Park your car and leave it. Couldn't have had more fun, Best weekend ever.

Perfect place for large groups, close to town with all the amenities!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place with 5 couples. We Each had our own rooms and private bathrooms. We couldn’t even hear anyone through the walls. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning and had dinner at the place several nights. The stream running behind the property is so peaceful! The eating area was perfect for our group to play games, hang out and eat together. It was also nice to be able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. It was a perfect place for us and everyone raved about it!! Couldn’t be more pleased.

Great place! Perfect location and comfotable!

We rented the River House Lodge and Chalet. The location is perfect and cannot be beat. Only a few steps away from gondola, shops, and restaurants. Beds are comfy and Every room has its own bathroom which is very nice. Ms. Mary was so great, she was very responsive to any concerns or needs that we had. Breckenridge is my favorite place and I definitely will be back to stay here.
