The Trails End complex itself has recently undergone a property-wide remodel, scheduled to be completed in December 2025, that elevates the entire experience. The lobby has been beautifully updated, the hot tub has been expanded into a large outdoor space with a covered roof, and the ski storage area has been redesigned to accommodate more gear for guests. These thoughtful upgrades ensure that Trails End remains one of Breckenridge’s most desirable ski-in/ski-out destinations.

This condo has a great location but everything needs to be updated. There is Not enough seating area in the living room for everyone to sit comfortably. The couches there are very uncomfortable. The bedrooms have NO TVs for kids or other person to go watch a different show. The pans in the kitchen were shredded really couldn't or didn't want to use them. They are scratched up to the point of unhealthy to use really. Best thing is the location

Good ski-in/ski out location for small group

This was a last minute booking, but was able to find this with a good location (true ski-in/ski-out, nearby rental stores, very short walk to the town). Location near Quicksilver was good for our family dynamic - start on greens to refresh my youngest's confidence, easy access to blues later in the day as well as decent access to the rest of the mount, and then when I drop my youngest off when she's tired later, quick access back up to get a few black runs off of Falcon superchair. The condo itself was nice with the expected/acceptable amenities. My only complaint is that the outdoor hot tub capacity was small given the number of building occupants, and was always full as a result.

Great Location

This condo is a nice size and a great location for skiing! It has great views of the mountain from the living / dining space. The cabinets and fixtures are dated and the carpet is a bit wrinkled but the unit is very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic with access to the lift and close to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Good communication - hiccup with the backdoor but overall good!

Had an issue with the backdoor not letting us in from the ski slopes. They were responsive - although it took some pushing for them to admit there was an issue with the back door by the hot tubs not letting us in with our key fobs. Great location, perfectly fine for a ski trip if you're not expecting luxury!

Not well Kept

This place needs some TLC!! It is in a very sad state! We reached out to the owners with no response. The property manager tried but it needs so much work! Started with blanket being filthy, dishes had not dried and had been put away a wet, easy fix just wipe down as you go. Inside the dishwasher there was bits of shredded cheese so when I ran the dishwasher the dishes were covered in this. Yuck! The fridge did not work so an small dorm style fridge was brought it. After reading reviews that was a a common theme. We had to throw some food away, never once were we told sorry and no one even offered to reimburse for food even though this happens frequently! The back doors were broken to the deck.. awesome with little kids, and there were rusty nails sticking out again something you want little kids near! Then we got locked out because one key did not work, come on be better than that! Inside just needs some Tlc!!! Replace and fix broken items, there is so many dangerous parts to this place! To say the stay was a frustrating would be correct!

Literally ski to the door!

Great little condo! It is literally a walk to the slopes! Maybe 100 yards to the Quicksilver chair. Steps from the kids ski school area. Walk to the village or main street! We never had to get in the car. Condo was very clean. Just needs some updating. The bathrooms need some love, but they are clean and got the job done. Good for a family with kiddos. Even has a built in potty seat on the toilets. The kitchen works great. Could use a few extras like oven pans, but we made do. The hot tubs were easy to get to and very clean. We will definitely be renting again! Like I said...super great if you have young kids and you don't want to carry all their stuff very far.

Great location

4 adult men staying in this property. We have stayed at Trails End property several times over the past decade+ and absolutely love the location - very easy few steps out each morning to the lift and ski pretty much down to the door for lunch and end of day. Can't beat it - there are other ski in-out properties on smaller lift line but this is a MAIN lift. Also very easy waling access to the main part of town with property location. This was one of the last 2 bdrm units available when we booked and it was pretty decent with a few quirks like the dining room light that was operated by plugging and unplugging from the wall outlet. This unit had a closet at entry and our ideal preference is a bench with hooks for easy dress/undress from skiing. Very few units we have stayed in have mounted TVs which was nice and gave us more room in the living room. Plenty of blankets provided. The provided humidifiers were some of the best we have ever used. Good, large coffee pot instead of some units that have a tiny one. Very good water pressure in the showers.

Great location, subpar condition

Loved the location, next to lift and close walk to town. Disappointed with condition of property - peeling paint in bathrooms, refrigerator did not cool (provided a dormer fridge 12-18 hours later), lamp broke, kitchen sink faucet difficult to control hot/cold water. Knew the unit was dated when we rented, and property mgmt was responsive on the refrigerator, but still had higher expectations given the price of the rental.

Great location, but the place needs some work!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This unit is in a great ski in/out location, but the unit itself needs some investment. I’ll start with the cons: - the living room electrical set up is very poor and borders on risky. - the dining room light fixture turns on/off with a wall plug! - the lighting in the sitting area is served by cords and wires that run directly in front of the fireplace! - the bathroom fans work but they are filthy, old metal that looks like they will fall out of the ceiling any moment. - the shower curtain in the small bath was filthy. Orange mildew was 1” high across the bottom. We called for a replacement, and Summit brought it over very quickly. - the small bathroom is one of the most odd layouts ever. There is an open sink area, but the toilet/shower room is absolutely tiny! We are not large people and it was cramped such that if one had a medical emergency with the door closed, responders would not be able to get the door open to assist. - the master bedroom was comfortable, but the bed should have a mattress pad under the sheet. Pros: Location, location, location Well outfitted kitchen and everything worked! The beds were comfy, and Summit rentals was very helpful and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay, but for the money... the unit is not a great value.

Property was clean and spacious. Easy walk to Quicksilver lift and Main Street. Our only issue was upstairs neighbor doing construction at all hours of the day. From 5:30 am on Sunday to midnight on all nights. Call the property manager three times. Finally got them to call them and let them know they are making too much noise. The manager then called me and said “if the noise continues to call the police.” My response was for the money I’m paying, I shouldn’t be the one to escalate this to a police matter. So the noise continued throughout the duration of our stay. Extremely disappointing.

The space was very roomy and the master bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. To get to the mountain it was a very short walk across a little path and then and short ski down to the quicksilver lift. We would stay here again!

Great Value true ski-in- out

Condo is literally 20 yards to slope, free ski storage downstairs, very clean and well stocked with linens and free parking. The management company made check-in a breeze and provided all the info we needed. This is a dated unit, but every thing works, and the furniture and beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend and would rent again.

Trails End was very convenient to lift and town, great location.

Great location for lift and town, literally a ski in/ski out. One of two elevators was under construction the entire week, so getting up and down was a challenge at times. The condo was comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Had a plumbing issue but they came and fixed problem very quickly. Condo could use updating, but overall a very good experience!!
