This is the best hotel in Brevard , stay here close to everything. Had a great vib and out door hammocks, firepit just so clean & walk to down town . We will be back.

Proud Native

Being a native of Brevard I’ve never stayed here until now. Wow! I was proud of this little gem! Didn’t have much interaction with staff but when I did, they were friendly and helpful! Those little sugar packets in cellophane for coffee are just teasers, lol. Even though it sat next to a busy highway traffic sound was not an issue. My room was clean and cozy! My bed was comfy and my two small dogs were welcome. Fixtures in the bathroom reminded me of my grandparents homes and good memories. Simpler living. What you see is not what you get, there’s more! Meaning, behind the rooms is a little oasis of picnic tables, hammocks, fire pits and areas for relaxing to enjoy nature! Oh, they also provide waste bags for pets and disposal box. If you enjoy feeling like you’ve come home, this is for you! Thank you Sunset Motel!

I liked the uniqueness. Not a chain motel trying to keep up with the most recent fads. Nearby traffic was a bit louder than I expected, considering the town has a 35 mph limit.

Taken advantage of.

Cute motel done in a retro 60’s fashion. Stayed at this motel about 10 years ago. Didn’t realize it at first. It is an updated property that is well taken care of. Paid for three nights but had to leave a day early. The manager said he would try to refund the night if he could book it for the night again. The property was full at capacity and he didn’t know if he could turn the room around quickly enough. Before we left the parking lot the housekeeper was in the room preparing for a new guest. Nothing has been returned. Feeling a little stiffed. Don’t have an emergency that will alter stay, you should be good.

Retro Getaway

The Sunset Motel was a great stop over during a two week vacation. I picked the location because of its vicinity to the Pretty Place Chapel. The downtown area provided an opportunity to streak my legs wandering in and out of the unique businesses and great places to eat. Highly recommend.
