Birch Cottage is the perfect place to stay for 1-2 couples, or a small family with kids.
Enjoy the ambiance of the open fire in winter or sit in the sunny garden or on the deck in the warmer months. You may prefer to stay in and cook using the fully equipped kitchen or head out to dine in one Bright's quality resturants.

The property was lovely and very peaceful. Unfortunately we had a problem with ants in the kitchen, there is a small hole on the window frame which is where they appear to be coming in. Also, we believe that there is a mouse in the main bedroom, we could hear him running across the carpet although could not see any droppings, we think it is under the bed.

We really enjoyed our cottage stay; plenty of room, clean and comfy beds, big dining space and a lovely porch to sit on with a cup of coffee and a book. The location was excellent. The only issue was the trail of ants entering the kitchen area.

Perfect stay at Birch Cottage

Loved this stay. Clean, SPACIOUS (in every room) well catered for, there was nothing we didn't have except more sunshine 🌞 The house was so warm for this time of year so it must be well insulated. Fire place was a lovely feature too. Only short walk to town, quiet area and charming little house!

Lovely setting and location - enjoyed the wood fire

This little cottage was lovely for my partner and I for a week-long stay. We enjoyed the wood-fire and the central location was ideal. It has a lovely Autumnal outlook. We didn't realise that the secure bike shed was shared with another cottage, which probably needs to be made clearer to guests. The security of the shed may also need to be upgraded. Overall though we would be happy to stay here again.
