This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

This beautifully designed one bedroom top (3rd) floor unit is the ideal getaway for couples or singles. The complex is stairs only with no lifts. Located across the road from the stunning Home beach, walking distance to the bowls club, Fever Coffee, Oasis restaurant and the iconic Straddie Pub.

From the deck you can look out over the manicured grounds, pool and tennis court. This unit is ideally located and creates a wonderful space for relaxation. However, you won't need to go without your modern luxuries as this unit has high speed internet, dishwasher, washing machine, a well designed kitchen with coffee pod machine (Nespresso).

The couch is a pullout, so although it is a one bedroom it can sleep a maximum of 3 people.

Off street parking only.

Linen supplied and beds are made for your convenience.

The Islander

This property was very dirty. The place was full of mould. The bedding was stained. The whole place was covered in dust. The dust was falling off the light shade onto the kitchen table where you eat. The unit was nothing like the photos online. Not impressed at all. Wont be back !!

Great Straddie stay

Our original booking got cancelled not too far out from Christmas and we thought that we may need to spend Christmas at home but thankfully found this property for our stay. You do need to head up a few flights of stairs to reach the apartment so keep this in mind but after a few days was used to the climb.overall a pleasant stay.

Unit could be supplied with consumables to make stay more user friendly, no tea/coffee supplied, no hairdryer. 3 flights of stairs a bit much by end of stay. Unit could do with a full spring clean, lots of dust, and the floor needed a good wash

Great stay at the Islander

We found the unit suited our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the unit was appointed. There was ample linen and kitchen essentials tennis rackets and balls. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated and the view from the round window was quite pleasant. We had a wonderful holiday with the unit as a base and the Cylinder Beach sunsets and swimming was dream like.

Needs a good clean

My two year old could do a better job sweeping and mopping this unit. Filthy lounge and curtains, missing batteries and light globes, no tea or coffee and the air-conditioning was struggling. You can walk to the beach and bowls club but that's about it.

Great position on the island.

The pool was great. The unit was lovely. The 50 steps up to the unit was not good when you are 72 years old with COPD. The shower needs a new head as it sprayed water on the walls instead of the person having a shower. The lounge wasn't very comfortable and the dining chairs scrapped on the floor. The balcony was very small with a rusty table and one rusty chair.

A little disappointed

The shower head was terrible, more water leaked out everywhere rather than out of the actual head. The air conditioning hardly worked and was in need of a very good clean, with large amounts of mould and dust build up. There was no pillow cases on the spare pillows- which were less than ordinary anyway. The ceiling in the bathroom was disgusting stained with black mould. The flooring on the outside balcony area half if the floor had been replaced with half still falling apart and giving you splinters if you stood out there bare foot. Overall pretty disappointed, won't be staying there anytime soon, even if it's cheap!
