This was a wonderful place with beautiful views. The hosts are accommodating and welcomed us even though it was after 9pm. We got a great tour and truly enjoyed our stay and their recommendations.
We had a phenomenal time ant our stay (mostly due to the farm animals lol.) Everyone was very friendly. The family has their kids over for the summer and itâs a very welcoming space seeing everyone playing. Cell service is spotty in the area so make sure you have the instructions on the map pulled up to get there.
GLAMPING! This property was magestic, from the wildflowers covering the entire grounds to the glorious natural swimming pond in the center. The wildlife and domestic animals roaming around were friendly and very entertaining. Peacocks, chickens, sheep, horses,a pig and the koi, all made for a unique stay. Don't let the communial bathrooms deter you, they are lovely, clean and conveniently located. Doug the host was available for communications and made sure we had everything we needed. The Wren cottage we stayed in was decorated perfectly and we were very comfortable the entire weekend. We will definitly book again.
This is one of those properties we probably shouldn't be reviewing to keep it our little secret, but as helping others is one of our core principles... well, here we are. Scottland Yard is a dream getaway for anyone who wants to experience the perfect mix of farm life and luxury - yes, apparently this is possible. Catching up with the farm animals, the magnificent mountain and rolling hill views, incredibly well thought out interior designs and property layout, the fine attention to detail with provided accessories (and the inclusion of two different mini stores for anything else).... We've never been in a such a place where we felt both in luxury and in tune with nature at the same time. We especially appreciated the trust and friendliness of the hosts. We were only able to stay for one night but are certainly looking forward to staying for a much longer stay soon. Thank you for having us Lena, Andrea and Duane!
