Studio apartment overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River

This studio apartment overlooks the beautiful Mississippi River in Brownsville MN, in pool 8. It has a living room, full kitchen, private bath & sleeping area (2 queen beds). It has a private access & room to bring and park your bass boat. Charging batteries possible. Along with a fully equipped kitchen is access to a gas grill for cooking your meals. WIFI is included.

There are two boat launches within minutes of this rental. We are also located along an MRT biking highway. Eagles, pelicans, swans and other river wild life are frequently seen around this location throughout various points of the year.

Situated in a driftless region,this area is home to scenic bluffs and valleys with gorgeous views from both Minnesota and Wisconsin. We are 15 min from downtown La Crosse, WI, 15 miles from New Albin, and 27 miles from Lansing, IA. The area also boasts wonderful trout streams for fly fishing enthusiasts. White tail deer and Eastern wild turkeys make their home here and offer memory making hunting and/or scouting opportunities for interested individuals.

This apartment is along Mississippi Pool 8 area. There are many local and major league (Bass Master Elite, Bass Master Open and Major League Fishing) fishing tournaments in this pool during the summer months.

This apartment was completed as a vacation rental as of March 31, 2018 and has been full with people from Florida to Rhode Island,, from Washington to London, Beijing to London and even locals, living 10 minutes away, wanting a night away from home. It is a truly beautiful and peaceful rural location with quick access to a bigger city and all the options you expect to find there. You may see, and hear, barges and/or trains going up and down the river hauling their loads. (The train crossings are over a mile away, so their horns can be heard, but most guests indicate they are not too intrusive. )
