Room was clean and bed comfortable ( tv should allow English language not just French ) though -1 floor with view not to outside was not pleasant. Also area outside hotel later at night did not appear very safe.

Fantastic hotel on the inside, really enjoyed it and would stay again. The street outside is a bit of a backstreet, so once you can accept that, then everything else is excellent.

This is the second time for me to stay in the hotel. Staff is nice and rooms are clean. There are lots of dining options. I would come back again when I visit Brussels.

Good value for money. Pleasant welcome by kind and professional personnel, modest room but bed and shower were great. My room was on the first floor and street side, which felt unlucky. Quite a bit of noise throughout the night. But I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Good overall experience and convenient location.

The staff was very helpful. It seems like this hotel was very nice at one point, but there is a lack of attention to detail in maintenance and cleanliness, especially in common areas. Many times we went through the lobby there were people sleeping on the furniture or with all their belongings spread out. The entrance is essentially on an alley that was quite dirty and full of trash during our stay. It was nice to have cheap, theoretically convenient parking. Theoretical because the ticket to return to the garage never worked, so we had to go several blocks out of our way and through a mall to access the garage (instructions that no one gave us and no signage indicated).

Comfortable

Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. Hotel has an unusual layout and has some quirks here and there. Receptionists were really helpful. The road it's on isn't the nicest but it's close to a metro station and to several major tourist points of interest.

Walkable to things we wanted to see and do

All the receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable, fluent in English. Breakfast was a great add on. Walking distance to the train station which was what we were looking for. Travelled as a couple. Will definitely add this location and their hotel chain to our hotels list.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice lobby, and even nicer rooms. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Although still walkable, the hotel is a bit of a trek walking from main tourist attractions, and the walk is up a very steep hill. Definitely difficult if you're not used to hilly areas, but worth it for the price. One morning, someone opened our door at 8am while we were asleep even though I put the do not disturb sign on the door. Also, they randomly cancelled our booking in the system, so we walk back 40 mins uphill to make sure everything was okay as their phone number didn't work. Luckily everything was fine and the guy at the front desk was very friendly. However, it did kind of disrupt our day, but accidents happen. The area around the hotel is neat with some shopping and good food, but the hotel itself is in what feels like an alley way and wouldn't feel safe at night.

The stuff was excellent. The rooms were good and clean. Overall the hotel left with the impression of "trying to be fancy". Some things may not be as practical as they should be.
