The hotel is a retrofit of an old building to a hotel. The installed bath tabs are too deep and not convenient to get in and out specially for older people. Location is excellent for walking to historical part of the city. I had some insect bit and suspicion of bed bug.

Lovely hotel, fabulous staff

Amazing hotel and super accommodating staff. We stayed for almost a week and visited another part of Argentina. Then needed a hotel to stay last minute before our trip home and they were so helpful every step of the way. Would definitely stay here again! Don’t miss the coffee shops and empanada stores on the same street :)

Unique small upscale hotel in a lovely setting provides great service in a central Buenos Aires location. Walkable to many attractions and just a few blocks from safe, cheap and easy to use subway. Very nice beakfast. A wonderful choice!

The Cassa Lepage was the greatest discovery of our recent three-week trip to Peru, Chile and Argentina. In some respects, it was unlike any hotel we have stayed in anywhere. Basically, it was the equivalent of having a studio in a chic, exclusive, art-focused building. The staff is delightful, the rooms (of which there appeared to be only about a dozen in total) are cut from former apartments in what was once an elegant hotel particulier, and the location is perfect for exploring some of central Buenos Aires livelier neighborhoods.

The Belmond exceeds expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted and cleansed of any concern. The staff pays attention to detail, accommodating any request. The property is historical and meaningful, encouraging relaxation and a connection with nature. All facilities are within comfortable walking distance and easily accessible. The Belmond, at its best, offers an exceptional breakfast experience—something to look forward to and reminisce. The pool complements the hotels beauty, alongside the animals, who are familiar with the property and curious. However, one improvement the Belmond should consider—the dinner experience at IPE (the smaller restaurant, poolside) did not meet expectations. While the food is amazing, the service was not consistent. Otherwise, excellent destination and a memorable experience.

Cassa Lepage is a beautiful building, with loads of history. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and knowledgeable about both the details of the building and the surrounding buildings. I highly recommend this hotel for people who appreciate local character, and charm.

This is a beautiful, really unique boutique hotel. Our room was spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the neighborhood is pretty quiet at night. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast is included in the rate and it was of very good quality with long hours. It’s well located for exploring San Telmo to the south and quite a few points of interest to the north as well. (For reference: we were in a deluxe suite).
